Regarding changing the Maybankard 2 Visa to Mastercard later in Apirl, I have been talking to 2 CS this week and both of them said not possible; meaning I have to terminate the current Maybankard 2 AMEX/Visa and re-apply for Maybankard 2 AMEX/Mastercard.

While we consider the Amex cashback, sometimes need to survey prices at different places also. No point buying RM300 with Amex 15% cashback, but sold RM250 at Chinese medicine shop. One example was when I bought an Omron blood pressure meter, selling price was like RM270 - RM300 in Jusco, Guardian, Caring, but I got the exact same model at RM199 from a pharmacy in Taman Megah.

To add to  above, the processing dept or somebody got to key in the application into system. Call then after 5 to 7 working days.

I will definitely cancel my Amex Gold cc once I receive the 15% cash back for February.

The previous 10x points promotion also gave me a lot of problems. I had to chase Amex CS officers and kept sending emails to them then only the 10x points were fully credited into my account. It took 6 months for me to fight for my rights and get the 10x points in full.

The 5% weekend rebate is credited every month end... without fail and perfect calculation. Definitely worth it !!!   

I used my Maybankard 2 Amex since 29-01-2010 (Purposely on Sat and Sun). Until now no cash back in yet and even TP also none.
I called MBB more than 10 times since 18-02-2011 which is my billing date.
Everytime I called, they said that they are going to log a report for me.
The last time I called, they asked me to wait for the next statement.

FYI: TM Point Damansara Uptown accepts AMEX for TM bill payment and they are open on Saturdays.

I was going to pay by cash for the items that i bought at SOGO but then, i saw this American Express Select logo on the shelf. So i asked the saleslady if i can any further discount if i were to pay using AMEX and was told that i can get an extra HKD100 off the bill. The saleslady was very surprise that i have an AMEX. It's not a scam. You've been shortlisted for the RM100 promo that ended a few months ago. All you need is to answer the question correctly and as soon as possible and you may just win the RM100.
Yes. The free RM100 promo that ended a few months ago. They already started to send out such question like 3 weeks ago and they were supposed to publish the list of winners last week but as usual, they are late again. That's just Maybank... super inefficient  

About 3 weeks ago I received this SMS.

So I sent the answer. And the received a sms reply "Thank you for your participation. The winners list will be published in the www.americanexpress.com.my website within 2 weeks from now. T&C apply."

But I could not find the winners list. Does anybody know where's the list? Is this a scam?

btw, if you spent rm500 or rm900 using mbb amex or platinum 2 cards, u can go to one utama center court there to exchange for freebies... managed to get a glass type cake cover container, but 1 card holder can only claim once nia...
