USB tethering is better then Wifi (in term of speed and stability)

You can just enable it under settings > Wifi and network > USB tethering. Don't need third party software except..for usb drivers.

Doesn't work for my laptop for some reason. Maybe the company laptop prevents incoming connection or something?

I think I wanna attempt to change the spring inside vision. Its wayyyyyy too loose now. Need some hinters and pointers from all phone experts here. Anyone done it before? Even before that I need to know where to get a better rating spring and the void sticker in Malaysia =/ If no one can help here I'll have to try in xda-developer

^yeah xda would be a better place. Or send back to seller to get it 'officially' replaced? Takes time though. haha.

Just as I suspected, the battery of the Incredible S fits into the Desire Z like it's made for it. Extra 150 juices for you battery life junkies.

Glad I had Titanium Backup. Been 2 updates that broke flash videos.

^yes it does. But for the most part, if you can prove that a fault you're trying to claim warranty for is not due your fault, and you can unroot it, then probably can submit to claim warranty.

Anyway, guess what material was used to make the display of our phone? brows.gif

To submit anything for a warranty claim, it needs to be in it's factory-shipped state so that they can diagnose if it's manufacturing defect. Rooting voids warranty because it is not a factory-shipped software state. Unrooting will return the phone to it's factory-shipped state. All info are on the front page.

Interesting to know the HTC Desire Z still appeals to buyers even at this day. Thought most people would be overwhelmed by the surge of newer and (apparently) better hardware specs.

Hey guys, I just changed to a 1800 mah mugen power battery yesterday. My battery life can said to be significantly increased. Dragged from roughly 8 hours of data hsdpa connected, now is roughly around 12 - 15 hours interrupted.

The mugen power battery is bought when I was using HTC touch pro 2. There is a guide in teaching how to mod the battery to use it for our desire z. Just use nail clipper clip off the side a little bit. The guide said to tear off the label because of thickness, but my mugen can fit just nice without taking off the label.

Holy cow. I've always wonder why my screen so different then others. Just to find out it was built using gorilla glass. Awesome.

Anyone have any idea of a good app compareable to Plex and XBMC? I need it to stream my videos over Wan, efficiently.
