my spring no effect d..whn i open the screen, it shifts on weight, not spring pressure anymore..lul

hi...would like to ask about htc desire z cause I'm planning on buying it...
1.how long do the battery last(if fully charged/normal used)
2.what about the gps performance?

need honest opinion and maybe any suggestion...thanks in advanced

1. normal use 16 hours. Conservative use can last 3 days.
2. GPS is top notch. Can lock GPS in places where some phones can't.

i usually start the day with 100% around 9am (sch holi )
and end the day with 15-24% or so -guarentee yellow bar-..(around 12am-2am)..
main batt eater is texting..i go thru the day with minimal wifi usage for mail checking whn im out or nt at the comp, a hundred to 150 texts or so on GSM only with screen brightness varying at 30% whn im outdoors which is bright and 10% indoors, vibration ONLY, background sync/data off.
reason i said main batt eater is texting coz throughout that many texts ur batt is bound to drain up by the constant receiving and sending data to the antenna...

normal use include accessing the internet and playing game right?
and what application the dz use for gps?does it contain map in malaysia?or need to be installed separately?

just like other android phone..

hey im facing problem with the weather widget. it cannot change to the current location where i am that time. example, when im in subang it will update to subang weather and then it will revert back to the old location automatically.
how to solve this? >.<

well heavy usage then it will not last... GSM data connection all the time... mailing sync hourly, texting less than 25 per day, calls about 60~90 minutes per day, friendstream and other stuff also... normally will last around 12 hours before down to 20%... if on 3G network then about 9 hours only... coz our 3G network sucks always weak so battery consumption is high...

are you using any data connection that time??? you need to sync to the server for update...
either you go sync when open (i suspect you did not tick this) or auto sync (1,3 or 6 hourly)... when it detects you in different location it will update itself then... if not u will stuck at the last update, like you are on wifi in your house... u are not connect to any thing after you come out... so the weather still stick at the original place...

if you did not tick sync when open then it will be like that too... it will updated the new location when i sync to the server for weather...

Basically what are the issues with these sense 3.0 ROMs ah? Heard homescreen rotation and SMS got problem? Now trackpad wake is enabled already thru RMK's new kernel, right?

all done... except MMS... which is not good... u need to apply patch for rotation... now using Insertcoin V1.5 by bro Suil... not fully sense 3.0... but a lot of sense 3.0 apps intergration already...

yeah i did tick "update when opened" option. when i update using mobile data/wifi, it did detect my current location but after update it revert back to my old location back. gosh..weird
p/s: i dont have the option to auto sync anyway. it is there but cannot select.

please refer to there... down the 1st post you should be able to find the APN Settings.... it is the same across the android platform...

BTW if you flash to others ROM with Sense 3.0 already you might have a lil MMS problem...

well then i think you should refer back to Digi and see...

*if you rooted and flash your device with others roms u might have the MMS problem... as i said at previous post...

so i assume your device is Original HTC Desire Z or G2 with stock rom...

I know this might sound stupid, but maybe you forgot to activate mms for the first time? That happen to me cause' i forgot bout it since i bought a new number for smart plan.
