^Never had problem with new market on any ROMs. Only thing not working is MarketEnabler on new markets (which made me go back to old market). Nothing a reboot + clear cache cannot fix.

Fuhhhhh. Unity kernel V9 adds overclock to 2GHz. Too bad only Sense ROMs. Anyone care to post some screenies of a Quadrant at 2GHz?

I'm on CM7 #204. Getting some good FPS at the double helix DNA rendering. It's usually capped at 24FPS. Latest nightly gave me 42FPS max in this portion. @1.5GHz:

i have found a probable solution for the market enabler, i have faced the same problem few weeks ago, apparently when we open up the market without using market enabler first, the market caches our location, hence using market enabler after that would not fool the market. one solution is to use the start at boot option of market access(not sure about market enabler) link to market access is herehttp://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/android/marketaccess

at unity kernel thread, a dude is getting around 31++ as well with 2ghz, i couldnt clock up to 2ghz, the phone just die instantly lol

lol it's just stock CM7 nightly #204. I've been getting 3k+ scores at 1.5GHz since nightly 184. Maybe is Sense kacau, so the performance actually balances out after OC-ing to 2GHz?

@boris
No WiFi? Then how come the WiFi icon is there, green color summore (means it's connected to Google, means it's connected to the internet).

Check under wireless&networks -> mobile networks -> Use only 2G. If that's check then you've found your problem.

I've never flashed radio before, so I dunno what to flash if you want to fix that. Maybe pay the XDA HTC Vision radio thread a visit?

Today WiFi is working, but my 3G is not. So I can't go online when I go out from home/office.

You're still on stock radio? Mind to share your baseband version?
I already flashed mine to recent radio from XDA, they say it should work well with CM7. The thing is, the radio will work after I flash a new radio. Give it a week or two, it will stop working and this annoys me as I don't want to flash a new radio every week. icon_question.gif

This was my stock radio before I flash the new one. Maybe reflashing to this one will fix this. Now I need to lurk into XDA forum for this stock radio.

Thanks a lot DJFoo000 notworthy.gif

Last time my phone battery drained quite fast, so I suspected the radio. Also, after I flashed from stock ROM to CM7, I noticed the radio performance was not that good. So I flashed to the latest radio, hoping that it will solve the problem. But, the problem with radio is like never-ending cry.gif

Dear all Desire Z users.

I'm a new user here. Just would like your opinions on the best custom ROM if I aim for stability and functionality. Any good advice?

Thanks all.

Sense or none sense type of interface...

Sense type you can try Virtuous's Doubleshot & Unity... or even the stock rooted one...

then you can try out bro Siulmagic Synergy, Coredroid... of course see what you want...

none sense type is like Cyanogen or even AOSP.... or even Miui like Iphone interface... smile.gif

Bulletproof MIUI is quite stable. But if you insist for the most stable rom I would say almost all Virtuous release are stable.

There aren't device specific wallpapers. Just find one with the right size will do. Google "android wallpapers".
