Hi everyone,

It's been a long time I haven't post in the old Desire Z thread, now moved to this thread already. rclxms.gif
I have a few questions, how do I find my NANDroid backup if I have done it previously? It seems that my stock ROM is having different build number from Dixon93, can I use his backup? notworthy.gif
Here is my screenshot before I use other custom ROMs.

Hi DJFoo000, thanks for the reply.

It seems that I don't have my original ROM backup in that folder. I might need to use Dixon93 backup in case of emergency. For the time being, I'm sticking with CM7. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi everyone,

I'm on CM7 now, and apparently the GPS stops working. Anyone faced this before? Should I update the radio?

So far on normal usage, most on standby and some occasional calls, my batt can sustain till 3 days.

Are you using custom ROM? Stock ROM wont last me more that 18 hours after full charge. sweat.gif

18 hours is good enough la. It's not like you're awake for 16 hours also (wake up at 8, sleep at 12am).

I'm just plain lazy to charge the phone before bed time. Need to accept the fact that smartphones are for smarter guys only. laugh.gif

Any suggestions for a replacement battery???looking for either an extra battery or a power booster.

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1794079
this one seems to be the best option.
*
I'm looking for power option too. So far I know Energizer has something similar but this Eneloop 5000mAh is better I guess. thumbup.gif

Being a crackflasher the last few days. Played with Virtuous Unity 1.29 and MIUI 1.7.22. In the end went back to CM, now on nightly #146. Nothing feels better than home. biggrin.gif

I agree, nothing beats CM. thumbup.gif

No WiFi? Then how come the WiFi icon is there, green color summore (means it's connected to Google, means it's connected to the internet).

Check under wireless&networks -> mobile networks -> Use only 2G. If that's check then you've found your problem.

I've never flashed radio before, so I dunno what to flash if you want to fix that. Maybe pay the XDA HTC Vision radio thread a visit?
*
Today WiFi is working, but my 3G is not. So I can't go online when I go out from home/office.

You're still on stock radio? Mind to share your baseband version?
I already flashed mine to recent radio from XDA, they say it should work well with CM7. The thing is, the radio will work after I flash a new radio. Give it a week or two, it will stop working and this annoys me as I don't want to flash a new radio every week. icon_question.gif

Mine is 12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.26_M. This is the one that came with my Desire Z.

This was my stock radio before I flash the new one. Maybe reflashing to this one will fix this. Now I need to lurk into XDA forum for this stock radio.

Thanks a lot DJFoo000 notworthy.gif

^was wondering, why you flashed a new radio in the first place?
*
Last time my phone battery drained quite fast, so I suspected the radio. Also, after I flashed from stock ROM to CM7, I noticed the radio performance was not that good. So I flashed to the latest radio, hoping that it will solve the problem. But, the problem with radio is like never-ending cry.gif

Maybe u can try to flash bell radio... It is working fine for me..

what are the steps that you have tried to resolve the problems? does clearing the market's cache worked? AOSP or CM? if CM, you can try reflashing gapps (backup your current phone in ROM manager first)
*
I tried to backup my current ROM but it said error when backing up /cache. icon_question.gif

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Oct 3 2011, 07:31 PM)
freeze Market Updater using Titanium Backup, then go to Manage Applications -> Market -> Uninstall Update.

Thanks for the tips, I'm now back with old Market. It works now! thumbup.gif
