I am currently working at a 'contractor' company for OnG in Miri. It is a quite well known company, but not that big. I am looking for a good job in a 'consultant'

company or even a 'operator' company, if it is ever possible. I have been working in current company for more than 3 years now, plus 1 year plus working for

other companies. Any you have ever walked through similar career path? I mean from contractor to consultant/operator company? Working in current company

means less stress (I could imagine working in bigger companies means bigger stresses), but also less income. I am not looking to get rich or anything, but like any

normal guys, everyone is looking for something better in terms of income. 

i wanna ask, if i am shortlisted for the sub-con like Sarku, now the subcon told me need to wait approval from their client, which is Shell? How is the chance of getting in? Sarku yesterday told me i am shortlisted and say interview this week ask me ok or not, but i dunno i got hear wrong or not, maybe is review i heard become interview.. Then today i called over because i wanna ask more information on the interview session, they say need to wait Shell approval first.. Kinda confused..

yeah the prospects in malaysia are dwindling to be honest, hence my next move would be to Oz, with their gorgon project coming up and the mining boom.. it is a much better option....
