Even with 20Mbps unifi, the most I got was only 473GB a month, and it was a one off. laugh.gif
To achieve 1200GB with streamyx is just... amazing. laugh.gif

Just one 2 TB drive will last yah about 2 months on a 4 Mbps Streamyx line, then

Balance's Inflexion Point comes into play : where the cost of storing the data is greater than the cost of downloading it...

I suggest you guys try out this premium VPN.... not sure the offer valid now or not....

https://freebiesoft.wordpress.com/2010/11/0...-serial-number/

Its not warez.... its a giveaway.....

At least then we can survive a bit but may be useless if TM cap EVERY SINGLE international traffic for you... (I haven't kena yet; but crossing fingers)

Assume a 4Mbps user get exactly 4Mbps speed, 4Mbps / 8 x 60 seconds x 60 minutes x 24 hours x 30 days / 1024 = 1265.625 GB usage, for 31 days = 1307.8125 GB.

But, the fact is we cannot exactly get 100% of the speed. So, let just assume we can get 3.6Mbps, 3.6Mbps / 8 x 60 seconds x 60 minutes x 24 hours x 30 days / 1024 = 1139.0625 GB, 31 days = 1177.03125 GB.

To achieve this level of high usage, a person has to non-stop download 24 hours everyday in a month.

With the newest hard disk of at least 2TB, it isn't impossible.

If a person wish to challenge TM, he/she can also do like this: After downloading the files, delete them and then re-download again, then delete again and then re-download again.

Don't forget that the files can be burnt to DVD also.

Capped a little more over than half (only 70% of the speed) here at Cheras. Not much affected.

I am not sure about mine though. Although the internet has been uncap, I can dl with max speed now, I found that I am not able to link to any torrent properly. Before the capping, I can download from any torrent with a speed up to 450kbps but now I can't even get more than 50kbps. Not sure if there are any problem with router setting, would appreciate it if anyone could offer a screenshot of what to set in Innacomm router.

i having the same problem, i found out the youtube is smooth even i load it 720p but then my torrent files only max at 50-60kbps. I heard they've uncapped the international connections but then limited all the p2p connections.

Getting 118.100..... here. Still, getting ~40% of the original speed. It's also worth mentioning that the connection and connection speed are both unstable.
