QUOTE(rizvanrp @ Dec 22 2010, 10:16 PM) @tch9 Thanks again for updating us on that firmware release It's been a pretty f***ed up 3 days for my WoW guild. Packet loss to multiple WoW tunneling servers in the US making the game pretty unplayable from 6pm-1am. oh..sad to hear that.. now this makes me reconsidering again whether to subscribe or not

What calvin suggested should work. It's pretty easy to connect pfsense to the BTU without having a bridge in between. During the initial boot you'll be asked to define the WAN/LAN interfaces and VLANs.. so you just setup a VLAN interface and you'll still have your physical interface along with a brand new VLAN interface. Set the VLAN as the WAN interface and you're good to go. With pfsense it's also possible to use a system with only 1 physical NIC as a router (provided you wire it into a basic switch) as you'll be able to push tagged and untagged traffic over the same wire.

QUOTE(playoff90 @ Dec 23 2010, 02:16 PM) mayb my place here is residential area thats y line lag at night? You should report this to TM Unifi. By right, you should get at least 80% of ur subscribe speed no matter day or night.. My area Wangsa Maju also face this problem. My speed after 8.00 PM will reduce to less than 1Mbps. Report to TM Unifi and send email to SKMM for this issue. TM support reply@call back that there's problem with 2 BRAS at Wangsa Maju area. So they will replace the BRAS on 28th Dec 2010 and by right on 29th, the problem should resolve....

Have you try connecting your pc to the router via ethernet cable to any available port? Does it not work? BTW, wifi adapter is around RM35-45 for the TPLink .. cheap enough to get one..
