QUOTE(klseet @ Dec 16 2010, 02:45 PM) Oh, I was referring to the SpeedTest.net result. Somehow, I got it the other way around .. my electricity just tripped an hour ago and when it came up, my internet was so slow.. I checked the ip range and it was 110.* .. using speedtest.net and checking the sri kembangan server, the ping was quite high and I could only get around 2Mb/s .. so, restarted the BTU everything and now I'm getting 175.* .. everything back to normal speed. BTW, I'm from Sg Buloh .. no idea why we've the opposite..If I'm on 110.x I can get around 4.8Mb/s down/up and uTorrent can go around 550kb/s down/up But once on 175.x can never go near these speed. |

QUOTE(angelofro @ Dec 17 2010, 07:57 PM) mean after install... i go to tmpoint tell them i installed unifi... then ask for cancel? they will check? because my streamyx still in contract.... Yup .. you need to go to TM own tmpoint and not the vendor's tmpoint. If you're going from screamyx to unifi .. it is considered as upgrade, so, they won't charge you for terminating your screamyx contract early. |

Hi Peter .. long time for sure .. what happened to the motor trader forum? gone for good? seems the new board is so difficult to use and I given up
QUOTE(peter32) I even tried to add another switch (bought one just to try on) at the set top box end, but it fail to detect the IPTV signal. ![]() My networking knowledge is not good but the above config won't work. Plain switch won't do routing .. the DIR615 splits the IPTV traffics .. adding a switch won't help to combine and split the traffics back to iptv and internet .. if you're worried of running long cables, I guess you could try that powerline thingy.. no idea if it works but some say it works okay for them. As for me .. I've never switch on my IPTV after they started charging for "premium" channels .. I've Astro and that should be good enough. |
