what is dat? OTG?
*
Its not OTG
Its USB host mode..
Cause OTG means u get to choose who becomes the client / host
USB host mode is that n900 is becoming host
There is no option for you to choose which device is client or host
TQ

it is file path to maemo programs

type this http://repository.maemo.org/extras/pool/fremantle-1.3/free/ in your browser you can even access it via pc

for N900, putting the repositaries path will tell it where to look for files

starting from extra folder to ext-test to ext-dev

dev folder are experimental program which is not recommended for beginner to install

test folder are tested program from dev stage and open for public testing before moving up to extra which is consider safe for the phone to use

success.

i admit reading all those repartition guide maketh me dizzy. end up i follow the hex route. hex the RE.bin and change the ext3 to 21gb instead of 2 gb. did ponder whether to change the swap partition to more than 768mb but they said minimal differences so leave it at that.

highly recommended. safest and fastest way to change that 2gb to 21gb and after that if i am not mistaken you can gpart the 21gb.

the partitioning thing is because i don't owned a microsd card, so i decided to install nitdroid in emmc, i think install in microsd card should be easy. should ask those people experienced in install nitdroid in microsd card to answer you smile.gif

here's the guide

http://wiki.nitdroid.com/index.php?title=N900-Autoinstaller

but, if u want to partition the emmc (32GB), i'd suggest u do it using GParted..u will need to have linux machine (ubuntu/linuxmint/fedora) installed on your PC..or, you can do it the easy way,

boot from GParted live cd..

here's the tutorial..
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=26629

i formatted my microSD using GParted live CD..i have yet to partition the eMMC internal memory..still waiting for uboot to be stable..i prefer to avoid multiboot though..
