how do i change from mmcblk1p5 to mmcblk0p5 in the multiboot item?
how do u change {INT_CARD}p5 to mmcblk0p5?

--edit--
sorry guys i have been SS the whole day..
But this is the item file for those that get this error mmcblk1p5 cannot be found when booting
[the white screen with words that asks u to hit any key to panic]

SSH INTO ur n900
go to /etc/multiboot.d
edit the NITDROID... item
to

ITEM_NAME="NITDroid 2.6.28.NIT.06 no SD in slot"
ITEM_KERNEL=2.6.28.NIT.06
ITEM_MODULES=ext3
ITEM_DEVICE=mmcblk0p5
ITEM_FSTYPE=ext3
ITEM_FSOPTIONS=rw,noatime,errors=remount-ro

@gyianz when you installing nitdroid kernel, the item should be auto-generated.

item_device suppose to be ${INT_CARD}p5 if you are installing in emmc at partition 5
*
I know it auto generated the item file for me but the item file wont let me boot in
the ITEM_DEVICE=/${INT_CARD}p5
but when i boot into nitdroid it says mmcblk1p5 instead of my wanted mmcblk0p5..
so i edited the item file using the code above and it worked ^^

yes, the NITdroid battery meter....  brows.gif

Maemo battery meter pun sama... not accurate....  vmad.gif

and NITdroid charging is sporadic.... it will charge when it feels like charging.... u keylock/screensaver and it wont charge....

so i switch it off and charge everytime....

sometimes charging in NITdroid wont go over 90%...
*
So u managed to charge ur nitdroid with power plug?
And i had this boot loop problem
My phone went out of battery, like total flat on nitdroid
Then plug it in into my power plug charger
went into boot loop twice
now showing starting pymaemo optification

Added on November 28, 2010, 8:07 pmAnd to sifus out there.. who wish to transfer files to NITDroid through USB cable in NITDroid.. this is the command

echo /dev/block/vold/179:9 > /sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/gadget/lun0/file

type this in the terminal in nitdroid's dev tools menu

Thats not the problem with the software but the GPS module itself. Like u said want fast must use a-gps it only cost 10cent per lock.
*
Ok thanks sifu.. will try that

QUOTE(jananan @ Nov 28 2010, 09:44 PM)
yeah... pymaemo.... i got that too... u cant boot nitdroid with charger plugged in....

then un-plug charger and boot nitdroid

then continue charging in nitdroid....
*
But i thought charging in NITDroid is an issue? how did u overcome that sifu?

Nah..You can use NITDroid.It's just we want the safest route...
In theory uboot is like GRUB for desktop linux? It should be possible to run other OS with proper kernel configuration.
*
OK... thanks sifu
gonna think of a bypassing way tomorrow. brain not that well functioned today..

succeful done all the step install in emmc, but when boot , pop out root filesystem mmcblk1p5 not available. i install in mmcblk0p5, it boot mmcblk1p5, that why it cant boot? how to chg it?
*
Lol.. no one seems to reply to you..
First ssh into your n900
go to /etc/multiboot
U should see two items..
Edit the nitdroid item with the code i posted before..
Something like item_device and so

haha, ya , i am just a small potato here, i search the web then i fix the problem ad, thx for answering  smile.gif

just finish flash power 46 + nitdroid dual boot sucessful

android seem a bit lag, perhaps overclocking will help?

android got one thing i like, the maemo itself when connect to some newer modem got WPS protected , it need wat wat ,then finally cant connect cause like when i eating at some restaurant i cant even touch the modem.android dont have this kind of thing. Just go test it at outside , surf beautifully  rclxms.gif
*
u booting v46 maemo and nitdroid?
U sure? cause i flashed my maemo and then install nitdroid
Try checking ur conky and see whether it is v46..
cause meLi sifu asked me whether i flashed v46.. so i check and see my v46 gone after installing nitdroid

what is dat? OTG?
*
Its not OTG
Its USB host mode..
Cause OTG means u get to choose who becomes the client / host
USB host mode is that n900 is becoming host
There is no option for you to choose which device is client or host
TQ

And did anyone tried the solution for mounting USB in NITDroid?
Gonna try later.
Maybe reflashing my phone for the 5th time.
Install neopwn, nitdroid and v46 kernel
----edit---
Funny..
I just connected my USB into my phone and voila
No commands at all and it just start USB connection and charging
