hot file download 40-60kb/s

after midnight, burst to max

same as someone above

ok, I have to say

this happen recently,

hotfile or fileserve or whatever, speed around 30-60kb/s
EVEN if I download 2 files from hotfile and fileserve at the sametime, the speed will be split into 30kb/s+ and 30kb/s (share the total 60kb/s possible speed)
midnight only max 160kb/s for 1mbps user,

I went to test on speedtest.net, see what I get?
Latencies are normal of coz, but...

EXCEPT all local speedtest servers (Malaysia)
other all oversea server I test, SG.TH.AU.NZ.JP
and even Brunei the closest foreign country that just 40-50kilometres away from my house(maybe route to Kuching or Sabah or to West malaysia), I got the very similiar results, 300-450kbps

never goes over that

I will not attach so many results, only some important areas
















These evidences are strong enough to proof that there's foreign traffic slower issue for Streamyx users , or maybe TM is really doing something behind, since they did say they do not guarantee us oversea speed.

because youtube has server in Malaysia

the fact im not heavy downloader,

just sometimes got some random files i want to download from

so why should I be one of them being imposed this cap?

does that mean even just temporary download some files also shouldnt allowed? then what's the internet for?
shame, normally we can at least get a 1mbps internet, ok, at least we got 1mbps, and now shape our the only 1mbps?

ok, not enough capacity, bandwidth expensive, these are always the reasons, i'm tired of this,

how pathetic, Unifi replaces Streamyx? just wondering how long does it take them to make Unifi nationwide?

maximum speed at oversea download 160kb/s...

and now,

speed is capped again

stuck at 30-60kb/s

same here

99% same

now at my shop here,
business streamyx 1mbps

totally same symptom as my home standard 1mbps,

they capped everyone :/

all the ip address ranges I tried, all have the same problem

the fact,

this situation happens to all my friends who not even use internet more than 2 hours per day

including 512k 1mbps 2mbps and 4mbps users

Streamyx business packages also capped

im using here, -.-

it seems like only Unifi consumer/business aren't capped

we dont have unifi here, cap us for what

im not really know about VPN

is that how it work?
your internet connect to VPN (local VPN but no problem on international traffic) then VPN connect and download outside malaysia instead of yourself, like hiding yourself from isp where you are downloading from

and it's the best way to bypass torrent throttle as well, because they do not know you are p2p downloading

no cap = full speed

yes, at the time i posted this

it's uncapped now, blazing speed on all oversea DDL

so, hope it lasts for next few days

results from me, I didn't reset my connection, it's still the same ip from last few days I use it,
the speed came back itself

it's back to normal now, "i guess it's temporary,maybe tomorrow morning slow again"

even all users in a small town, or can say all my streamyx fren in whole nation have same problem

cap time is random, usually midnight until early morning is fast

and no, they werent only cap heavy users,

cos my shop business line not really use much, only for email, web browsing

same also capped

and all my other fren line also same
