now that gtx580 out dy,,,will cayman b delayed 2 counter back gtx580???now i reli dont c any purpose 2 release cayman now unless they can boost the card 20% faster than gtx580 in few days without compromising the temperature n noise

then when news saying 8000 series is set 4 Q4 2011,,,nobody want 79xx liao n the circle goes on n on n on n on n on

AMD can always release the cayman with better TDP, cheaper and perform close to the GTX580 and still be the winner overall

AMD doesn't need to boost out 20% more just to beat the GTX580 and later setting higher TDPs. The boost will definitely come from the end users and overclockers themselves

i dont know bout 580 oc-ability but if 59xx is lower than 580 but very very imba in oc then it sure can win 580 with lower noise + lower temp. lets hope so

From the reviews, the GTX580 can easily OC up to 850Mhz and above
Fermi is all about overclocking

5870 can easily reach 900-950 aint it?

OC'ed HD5870 can't beat GTX580 stock.

What do you mean your HD4670 can't load? Black screen and no video output? If you think it's faulty, then sure can RMA. 3 years warranty is 3 years from the date of manufacturing (d.o.m). Usually there's a serial sticker on your card to identify the d.o.m.

Hmm.. with teh 580 out from the green team I just hope that RED team can come up with something to equal the field but I suspect that the GF110 reviews and benchmarks are a lil skewed.. more than 50% performance increase than HD5870 wor... really meh??

About ~25% only, there's no 50% increment, well maybe for some games that rely on nVidia optimized architecture (correct me)?

yea, around there. not like 50%. no doubt it's 25%-30% faster, the power consumption is also 25%-30% more compared to HD5870.
