6850 going to cost ~RM750 and according to sources, it is as easy as 5850 to overclock its core to 1GHz (with some voltage bump) and it gives GTX460 a run for its money. going to buy if it drops down to ~RM500

but they would have been much more classier and impressive if they were the HD 6700.

HD6870 is a lot faster than the GTX460 1Gb...most reviews suggest that it is as fast as the HD5850...

dont compare two different categories, the 460 1gb is not at the same price range as 6850. 6850 is meant to compete with 460 768mb.

We do believe that AMD plans to phase out Radeon HD 5800 boards shortly after it launches the first Radeon HD 6000 series products, as it doesn't want to compete with its own parts.

Cayman replaces Radeon HD 5870 and HD 5850 and we are hearing that Cayman XT is going to end up branded as Radeon HD 6970 while Cayman PRO gets the AMD Radeon HD 6950 brand.

Launch date is in the last week of November, if all goes well of course.
