Eh guys,i dont know whats problem with my sister PC le.

The system keep hang/BSOD eventhough in stock mode.

I already tested the RAM with memtest but detect no error.What problems could it be?(before this i unlock the sempron,so i tot its sempron problem then i back to Single Core but the problem still persist).

phew... at least less competition for d cards... but still, something is very wrong w/ my os. ver. 2.04 @ 4GHz + 3K NB + 2K ram @ 7-9-7 gives 10.578s, but ver. 1.55 with same setting gives 6.844s. what amazed me is a X4 B50 @ 3.5GHz (d rest unknown) scores a 11.554s in ver 2.04... am lost... x6 @ 4GH + 3K NB + 2K Ram only lead a system w/ X4 @ 3.5GHz (d rest unknown) by less than 1s ONLY...





conclusion, i'm suck in wp/sp or whatever kinda benchy.

Didnt tried yet.But if safe mode still same thing happend,what could causes this?
Because when this thing happend,i need to shutdown the pc then nid wait few mins before can turn on back.
If saying temperature it is very cool enough <40C

yeah.. eventho intel performs better, i prefer AMD cuz it cheap.. change few HW wont cost u an entire salary.. plus i dont need those speed.. just having some fun with low profile HW tweaking..

easy, if safe mode ok > driver/software related issue. if safe mode still d same, prolly hw issue. could be d board is givin u all d problems. what board is that btw?

try to bring d board outta d case too if possible, mebe short circuit between mobo & case? wild guess only thou...


gud to know that d ud5 works superbly for u mate... it's been a while since i last tested a gigabyte board. i skip gigabyte for 8xx series as 870-ud3 doesn't have enuf pci-e lane for my x-fire & pci-e sound card, while 890 just on 4+1 phase only despite bein just $10 cheaper than my current asus m4a88td-v evo /usb3 with 8+2 pwm. should have bought d ud5 but due to budget constraint, i gotta settled w asus 880.

gotta agree giga make solid boards thou, their build quality is d best, at least to me. if they can further improve d ram overclockability on low-mid range boards, it's not that hard to choose. sw wise they're a tad behind asus (turbo-v) but giga boards always work well w/ aod especially d high end ones.

Canada is not that far from d states so it's more accessible for u if compared to our region. if newegg is just few clicks away for me, i'll eat bread for breakfast, lunch, dinner & even supper...

sadly biostar 8xx series have disappoint me this time, 890fxe is great but d pci-e slots arrangements are abit screwed, while 890gx & 880g is not available @ atx factor + no decent phase of pwm, and finally TA870+ does look decent enuf (even w 4+1 pwm) but not available in SG.

meanin u need lower vimc for higher freq on ram on nb freq? for d latest kvr pair rite? hmmm... that's something new... my latest findin is diff chip works diff on drive strength... iirc my ex 1055t liked 1.5x while my current 1090t favors 1.25x on my eco.

If short circuit between case and mobo,it wouldnt power up at all,i experienced it before.

It is Asus M4A785 TD V-EVo sth like that forgot le.. Using 785 Chipset.

Any other kind of hardware problems maybe?

if ram & chip is ok, either board or gfx only. but if u can memtest for long period, i doubt bsod is caused by board.

Maybe ram incompatible? Last time my friend pc like that also, cabut gpu try other gpu, cabut psu try other psu, lastly i gave him my kingston kvr to try on his pc & then no prob whatsoever..
Its like his mobo is picky with ram type
