phew... at least less competition for d cards... but still, something is very wrong w/ my os. ver. 2.04 @ 4GHz + 3K NB + 2K ram @ 7-9-7 gives 10.578s, but ver. 1.55 with same setting gives 6.844s. what amazed me is a X4 B50 @ 3.5GHz (d rest unknown) scores a 11.554s in ver 2.04... am lost... x6 @ 4GH + 3K NB + 2K Ram only lead a system w/ X4 @ 3.5GHz (d rest unknown) by less than 1s ONLY...  sweat.gif

Your CPU-NB clock too high. Just now did a quick run using CPU 3k NB and 2.5k NB with 6 threads give 10.5 sec and 7.5 sec respectively.

Lower the ram speed from 2k 7-9-7 to 1.6k 6-7-6 give a marginally 0.3 sec improved.

This wprime mainly depend on CPU clock instead of NB. High NB didnt give a high yield.

then gilabyte 880gma-u2dh is the right one. dont worry. quite stable. just tried pushing to 4.0.

thanks...but bought an old chipset mobo for a great price.. brows.gif

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Nov 26 2010, 09:23 AM)
gotta agree giga make solid boards thou, their build quality is d best, at least to me. if they can further improve d ram overclockability on low-mid range boards, it's not that hard to choose. sw wise they're a tad behind asus (turbo-v) but giga boards always work well w/ aod especially d high end ones.  rclxms.gif

sadly biostar 8xx series have disappoint me this time, 890fxe is great but d pci-e slots arrangements are abit screwed, while 890gx & 880g is not available @ atx factor + no decent phase of pwm, and finally TA870+ does look decent enuf (even w 4+1 pwm) but not available in SG.  cry.gif
but still i dissapointed with AMD giga bios and easytune.. even a low profile giga intel's mobo have richer bios and also easytune can do lotsa things..

isnt that the PCIE placing never been right since 7series.. the worse part when 7series is when no 790FX exist.. for the 880 and 890gx, perhaps biostar aim for HTPC user since there are less preferable among enthusiast..

QUOTE
meanin u need lower vimc for higher freq on ram on nb freq? for d latest kvr pair rite? hmmm... that's something new... my latest findin is diff chip works diff on drive strength... iirc my ex 1055t liked 1.5x while my current 1090t favors 1.25x on my eco.  rclxub.gif
*
no.. on elpida OEM pair.. it works well with 1.15vimc..but my stock is 1.175v.. sweat.gif sweat.gif
wah..what drive strength is that unker? share some knowledge notworthy.gif notworthy.gif i cant play with them now since UD3 dont have that option

psst.. this is kunta.. using my bro PC, so posting with his acc..
