if can find a cheap m4a88td-v evo /usb3 then by all mean go for it... 2.1xk on ram, 3k +/- 100MHz nb freq w/o sweat...

Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 is so much better than M4A88T-V EVO, it's 880G/SB850 chipset, and only RM3xx, is worth 2play this board.

Hi all, newbie here. I wanted to test out my processor maximum performance... I have never tested before. Currently using AMD 9950BE 2.6GHz 140W version + 2G Team Elite 800 + Asus M2N68 + CM 460W Extreme.
I tried to overclock to 15x 200MHz = 3GHz. It works fine until I run Prime95 and then it hangs. Over 3GHz cannot enter Windows, keep blue screen.  The safe limit is changed to Overclock Profile -> Overclock 7%. And then it works fine. But make no difference...  Anyway to overclock it higher? |
