The board like PSC memory more than the hyper chip. PSC chip clock very nice on this board. Some prelimiary test on memory.

u can try tighten ur ram after tis.. try change to 1T

tighten mean something like 5-7-7-27-27 become lower to something like 4-6-6-26-26 like that? sorry i still doesn't got very much of the term

Yes! btw u need to know what are you dealing at the moment.

You can use cpu-tweaker to adjust ur ram timing in OS level. But do bare in mind that to tight also wont give u performance + instability. So you need to know the sweet spot.

DDR2 is typically available at speeds up to DDR2-1066 or DDR2-1200, while DDR3 spans DDR3-800 to DDR3-2133+ speeds.

DDR3 divider :

#800 - Intel /AMD
#1066 - Intel /AMD
#1333 - Intel /AMD
#1600 - Intel /AMD
#1866 - Intel / AMD Bulldozer
#2133 - Intel / AMD (Able to archive)

if possible, go for m5a97 pro or evo, i believe d price diff is not that significant. vanila m5a97 go quite a number of features cut out. i've yet to play w d m5a97 but initial test w/ m5a99x is positive. as for no of fan header u can actually check it here: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/M5...board_front.jpg 4 if my eyes don't trick me.
