I think VLC can handle that kind of file, try VLC. dude.

Got a Q here, let say I have two partition when I'm in Windows, and can uBuntu see the second partition? If can how? Because I could not see my Windows second partition in uBuntu.

It should be mounted automaticly in /media/.... like ( /media/sda1 & /media/sda2 ) . That sda# means a volume, could be C: or D: or anything . Try the utility . "SYSTEM > ADMINISTRATION > DISK " from the menu . If u can see the volume is there but u cant access it from the /media/sda# , i think u should use the "mount" command .. mount it into /media/myvolume ... BUT if u cant see the volume in DISK MANAGER , u better ask the PRO's , coz i hv no idea how to fix it ..

After upgrading to Feisty on my Lenovo N100,
the screensaver won't start.

Also the laptop won't go to sleep after 1 hour
as I have set.

What can I do?

sudo fdisk -l
to get the list of partition then
mount /target /destination

Solved the sleep problem. Turns out, after waking,
the keyboard generates some rubbish text that
keeps going and going. This prevents the power
saving features from kicking in.

Needed to rebind the keyboard with some extra
resume.d and suspend.d scripts.

Try xine-ui with DVD menus support

sudo apt-get install xine-ui libxine-extracodecs xine-dvdnav

or you can try download more codecs using the command in the terminal

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras libxine-extracodecs gstreamer0.10-plugins-base gstreamer0.10-plugins-good gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad gstreamer0.10-pitfdll

or this command line

sudo apt-get install w32codecs

When you do "sudo liloconfig", what is the output?

i) did it give some "warnings" and finish execution?
ii) or you get a menu of selecting kernels, etc.. ?
