U need file /etc/dhcpd.conf. Try use sudo apt-get install dhcpd if not in ur system. Some guide for u.

Right now link to US got problem in few day. The connection so slow, use Singapore for fast update.

What player that you using? Try VLC or Helix. Sudo apt-get install vlc or apt-get helix-player.

Maybe your hdd got problem..Not CD corrupted. Have other CD Feisty? I have done install about many time. No problem at all.

I got problem with me firefox in my ubuntu feisty. Each time i want to open lowyat.net, it will it self.

I already reinstall that firefox and try other browser. And the problem still not solve. I dunno what to do.

The other is no problem at all.Confuse, why cannot open lowyat.net? Any idea?

I didn't set static ip in my ubuntu. But still can connect to internet using router.

You need free space in same hdd in order install ubuntu. Ubuntu can read/write ntfs using ntfs 3g. nod.gif

My ubuntu working great with ntfs. I install ntfs-3g and ntfs-config.

You need to locate where that driver you download. Go to that dir and use that command.

If you wanna do that, the hardware in the other pc should same with yours or it will give some error when you plug that hdd in your pc. blush.gif

Maybe u can use chattrs +i <filename>

If i not wrong.

I have problem with my jaunty. When i plug in my ext hdd (1TB) it cannot detect. My jaunty is 64bit version. So, keep wondering, if true linux can read/write large capacity hdd. Anyone knows?

I hove problem with my jaunty. When i shutdown my laptop, it not direct shutdown. But it show cursor on blank screen. I need to press Enter twice and it will show Power Down. Anyone got problem same with me?
