hi there ppl, i got a question here, i am using ubuntu to try to month my addional sata hdd but i am not able to mount it it says that /dev/sda already mounted or /home/XXX/windows busy . would like to know wat is causing the problem? i already add an entry in fstab with /dev/sda /home/XXX/windows vfat rw,user,noauto,umask=002 0 0 i then created the folder under the directory but when i check it properties it it just shows me the total hdd of my main partition which is hda1. btw the sata hdd contain an msconfig but without windows OS in it. Please help~ thx alot appreaciate it.

Added on July 18, 2007, 1:59 pmbtw do ubuntu support chinese character? if so how can i do it cause now all my chinese chracter file name is ????? .i have already installed the chinese pack from language support but still not able to view the character pls help~ thx alot appreciate it very much~

Yes ubuntu does support chinese character, go to System> Administration > language support> install chinese and set ur default language to chinese

hi there thx for the reply and i got the vlc installed thx alot but then the chinese language i already set it up but still i am not able to view the folder name with chinese character which i mount it from windows it appear as ?????? . please help thx alot~
