Say guys, for a secondary snare, would you use a regular snare or get a drum pad?

*
Why not? Since it'll be a secondary snare, it's okay if it's not perfect sounded for one tone, if you can change the tone, it's the best to be called Secondary snare. icon_rolleyes.gif

And fix'd the youtube link.

Specialities? Their kits and drum triggers I guess. Yeap, I heard about that before, there are a lot of issues regarding the quality of their drums last time but maybe they have improved now. But their artistes are very well known, carmine appice, dave lombardo, vinnie paul, shawn drover, etc.

franklooi96: No, but I'm planning to switch to Guitar Collection OU later this year (it depends on the availability). The place where I'm teaching now is in Hartamas, a bit far from my house.

yeap, I already asked one of the staff there, and he told me that they are short of instructors. That's why I'm planning to switch there, but have to wait first, coz I need to give a 2 months notice before I quit.

btw, how you know about this? biggrin.gif

Added on October 12, 2010, 9:32 amanyone knows the price for Sonor SQ2 set? I thought it'll be more expensive than this?

The SQ2 is a custom set, maybe this guys used the cheapest options for everything?

But then again, it does seem a bit too low. It's Sonor's top of the range set. I remember checking it out, and they quoted me about US$1000 for a 13' snare, so I doubt this is the real thing. But if it is.... xD

WHERE IS THIS SHOP ANYWAY?

I guess this guy is not from Malaysia, and maybe he wanted to put the price in USD or other currencies but since Mudah is a Malaysian site, the price will automatically be in RM. Hahahaha...

Check this out, http://www.songnetworks.org/sonor-sq2-vint...irds-eye-maple/

or maybe its a scam, coz I still remember last time when I posted my stuff on Mudah, there are few foreigners offering to buy my stuff in USD. The weird think is, I received the same email from different people.

I've tried Korg Wavedrum before. Amazing.

Not possible. You're right, definitely not from Malaysia. No place here that deals with Sonor, DW, Pearl, and Sabian under one roof.

New discovery:
http://cgi.ebay.com/YAMAHA-PHOENIX-DRUM-KI...DefaultDomain_0

The same pictures used by the seller on mudah linked by Brokenbomb earlier.

even on ebay, the price is $8250.00

If it is really a scam, maybe this guy just took the pictures randomly on the webs, and post it on Mudah, and wait for people to reply. Later, will ask the buyer to bank in 5%-10% deposit, and buhbye!

Yup i think is scam. Buying drums, I prefer to see it in real person than just pictures. They're big items.

Ya guys, since im still a noob in the drum stuff, i need your help. I wanna add some drum infos on the main page. Can u guys list out the drum makers in the market now and their ranking. Such as the top drum makers that suck big portion of your money until the lower end drum makers. I can only think of Pearl, Tama, Sonor as the big drum makers cuz they're famous tongue.gif

Uhh... I don't think we have rankings de. Its usually personal opinion

Like have you heard of Square Drum Co.? Never heard right?

Just cause you haven't heard of it before doesn't mean it doesn't suck big portion of our money tongue.gif
