Drum mics. They're focused and more eq-ed towards drums.

I heard there's this Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera that could also record acoustic sounds.

Well, budget enough.

But drum mics are expensive sad.gif
If just for the cymbals then do u think cheaper mics will do?

It's something like 600-800 bucks for the 13" one at the Yamaha sale.

You mean two condenser mics?
memphisdrumshop does not divulge their mic setup and recording techniques as a policy. Where did you get the info from?

On mic drums, I think it depends on the intention of the recordings, for practicing and listening back, live audio or recording. That lumix maybe only good for listening back to a practice only. Zoom recorders is good for ideas, maybe not so for a demo or album since editing can only be done to the whole recording of the whole drums. Spent some time reading before purchasing any because mics are expensive.

On another note, look what I just received;

And, anyone seen this?

Well, the Lumix recording is my preference for recording at home anyway. nod.gif

Don't wanna spoil the mic discussion, as I want to know about it too. icon_rolleyes.gif
