QUOTE(ameeru_aniki @ Oct 21 2010, 06:05 PM) they admit their mistake... they overcharged..... problem evaded.... if not.. am bringing it to Hal Ehwal Pengguna...... wrecking havoc say!!! good for u. so how u complain to them? through Maxis Center? Mine is RM380 and I seriously believe I never reach 500mb, didn't do tethering and 3G Watchdog shows i'm below 40mb. Btw, for those who change from 500mb to 1.5gb or 3gb, they will penalty u RM500. See mine I changed from 500mb to 3gb when still in contract, back to 12 months (thats what they told me), they never told me it charge RM500 This post has been edited by Leo the Lion: Oct 21 2010, 08:00 PM

QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 21 2010, 10:02 PM) upgrade also will get penalty? i didn't ask for termination Yes. RM500 is agreement termination penalty. Upgrade or downgrade you still need to terminate the previous agreement and then enter into a new agreement. That is why when I first apply, I need to consider carefully which plan is suitable for me.

QUOTE(agn @ Oct 21 2010, 10:10 PM) but havent they waived the RM500 penalty in your Goodwill waiver - Customer Satisfaction? I'm actually confused. The maxis girl told me it will just change back to 12months contract. did not tell me about the penalty of RM500. So someone who upgrade will get waive and some will not when they upgrade their plan? Some more, my 3G watchdog haven't reach 100mb yet they told me I have exceed 500mb (I know 3G watchdog isn't accurate but c'mon I've been monitoring my data usage and careful with what I'm doing). Sigh, really have to pay the bill like this. This post has been edited by Leo the Lion: Oct 21 2010, 09:21 PM

Does APNdroid have any issue on SGS? Some say a restart is required to make changes. Or are there better apps for switching APN off?

Sigh, really have to pay the bill like this. Basically, what they do was ending your first contract (hence why the 500 is stated in the bill) and start a secondary, overlapping contract. And since you upgrade instead of terminate, the 500 is waived in the goodwill waiver. Of course its less confusing if they havent show you +- 500, but its a mandatory audit procedure I think. Basically - you tak payah bayar that 500 since its waived.

I have been careful using the phone after 2 months bill shock and yet I got bill shock more than the previous

if not mistaken, RM500 is termination fee..since they take it as termination and then put back u in new contract, then why dont u straight away hold them up not to renew the contract and jump to other ship(digi, etc)?

I did not know it was actually TERMINATION not UPGRADE. I ask for an upgrade and maxis girl didn't say anything about termination + penalty. If they did, I would opt to Digi.
