Does APNdroid have any issue on SGS? Some say a restart is required to make changes. Or are there better apps for switching APN off?
Try SwitchPro widget, works better and requires no phone restart.Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Official Thread V5, Please read FAQ at 1st page!!

at least this time they "kinda" release it on kies, not sure they put there just for fun or they are seriously releasing it.

i'm on JPH, if i want to upgrade to JPM using kies following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809423
do i need to reflash first to JF3? since the guide says I need to change the registry to "SoftwareRevision"="I9000XXJF3/I9000SWC/I9000XXJF3/I9000XXJF3" "ProductCode"="GT-I9000HKDXEE" "HIDSWVER"="I9000XXJF3/I9000SWC/I9000XXJF3/I9000XXJF3" or simply change the setting to "SoftwareRevision"="I9000XXJPH/I9000SWC/I9000XXJPH/I9000XXJPH"? |

i think this is a good news..new firmware froyo updates for the UK
http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/21/samsung...ates-all-carri/ Nordic countries have already sample the goods, but Sammy says that a "new" firmware update will be available in early November in the UK and should hit "all operator versions" of the phone (presumably including the Vibrant, Captivate, Epic 4G, and Fascinate) by the end of November. YouMobile is reporting that existing regional updates have been pulled due to general not-awesomeness, so hopefully they'll have a chance to get it right over the next couple weeks before it starts hitting again. Follow the break for Samsung's press release. This post has been edited by hxcpride: Oct 22 2010, 02:38 AM |
