ive already flash that long time ago with quandrant around 1890, but it does suck the battery faster thou.

try search 'AdFree Android' from the market, this app required root access.

use root explorer or others of it kind, go to /system/app , find the application apk you dont want then delete it, and also deleting the wrong apk might result in bricking the phone.

ohh, i forgot about titanium backup. haha, use titanium backup lah its easier.

anybody have the market install problem?
i can't install some of the market apps after download,

the download already finish but it will not install, nothing happen at 100% it just stay there.

ive got the problem after i flash XXJPK, now its getting really annoying.
anybody knows how to fix this ?

mostly unwanted samsung stuff that comes with the rom like widget, touchwiz launcher etc. etc.
it make the phone lighter and maybe faster.

lite rom is rom with some or all samsung stuff remove.
theres alot of these rom floating around, try to check out the XDA forum.

lol, you are making it look very hard to apply the update.zip
it should be a very simple procedure.

maybe your recovery dosent allow you to use unsign update.zip
try to flash recovery 2e it should fix the problem.

if it dosent go to recovery then yours is disable.

unroot just gonna remove all the root access the application have, no need to uninstall first.

never used that before, but ive use papago X5 once in a while.
malfreemaps.com have maps of malaysia for papago, so its have better detail then most of the gps application for android.

titanium backup is one of the most powerful backup apps
it does required root and busybox
try to search it on the market, it got two version one free and one paid

you will still need the apk

memory card is used to store the map file, you can store in the internal memory card if you like.

and touchwiz if your on 2.2, you can also do that on the app drawer of touchwiz.

just install firefox 4.0 beta on my phone.
it have many function than the stock browser
but its have bug here and there, sometime it crash also.

ive just read at firefox page, theres a known bug for Galaxy S phone that make it slower,

try vlingo voice, you can download from samsungs app application.
you can do many things eg. text someone with a touch and just speak to the phone.

my XXPJK FM radio work just fine.

im listening to Fly FM using my phone right now, its on JPK firmware.
