Yes. i spoke to the a very knowledgeable maxis customer service.

btw, i asked on the 24 months extended warranty, its no extra charges on it.

wait, must buy ivalue plan? how about idata plan? shd be applicable right?

24 MONTHS extra warranty on any plan or ?

I'm not quite sure on that. I just remember his exact quote and I didn't ask further on that. If you see idata plan the cost of the phone is near to buying outright though

Call 123 Maxis customer service and ask to double confirm on your doubt.

You only will entitled 1 outright purchase if u get urself a contract plan.

I called cs yday and that guy said there's no way for outright purchase. And when i asked in a Maxis Center, they said no outright purchase at all.

i'll be there around 10pm the latest i suppose.... try to que up as early as i can...

You have to find the right guy. Not everyone have the same amount of knowledge there lol. This was on my THIRD visit. Before this all of them just say can! can! I got this answer from the young boys jaga the visitors.

I went to the counter up to the older guys there and he paused for a while, then he told me he has to double confirm. He went to the back, then went to the front and spoke to this Guy wearing iphone polo t-shirt. He was the one who told me the full story, the rule is applicable for prelaunch event only, which then tallies again with stringfellow's feedback after I asked him in V5. Once it starts selling on this sunday you can buy it outright.

I also showed him a copy of the email booking that I got. I made sure he knows I'm one of the bookers.

So you mean it's only applicable during the event on Friday and Saturday? And it's not applicable anymore after 27th?

Yes, but I think on sunday also can buy outright.
