If those investor and owner knows, once the thing collapsez, non of them get their benefits at the end but just a statement of "you get ur justice"

Sir, may I know how to issue notice of VP when there is no CCC? Did you experience this before? If yes, I am interested to know which project. And if this is possible, what would happen if buyer VP and CCC only comes 2 years later? Leave the unit empty and let the LAD lapsed? Please enlighten me. I am newbie. Thanks in advance.

but VP must CCC

CCC is authority compliance. Issued by architect to signify completion of the building.

CCC is precondition to issue VP. VP is issued by Dev to purchasers. Typically, a sensible Dev will buffer some time after construction complete to ensure CCC can be be issued prior to VP, in case authority got some comments that need to be rectified before can issue CCC.

VP and CCC. This issue being discussed and rectified by legal basis, but only for HDA project. Non-hda, not sure. But if a developer use it as excuse for "non-HDA" project, then definately is a lao sai developer..

Been following this EC thread since the huge fire broke out some time ago (was it 2013?). Pics of VP from Halo seems livable, though with poor workmanship and finishing (but nowhere near as bad as the ones posted by "Mr Lim" that went viral on FB).

The main question will lead to different question(s) that might shed some light to this highly interested topic.

1) Are the photos posted (the ones that went viral, not livable at all) comes from the actual unit that developer had passed for VP?
a) If yes, why would developer do so, as reputation is much more expensive than paying LAD
b) if no,
b-i) is this an honest mistake by Mr Lim to have taken the photos at a unit that developer has not yet pass for VP?
b-ii) is this a deliberate act by Mr Lim to mislead the public regarding the development?

2) Why hasn't the developer made any official statement regarding this matter which has went viral and receive many public interest whether or not they're directly or indirectly involved or not?

3) What are the excuse/explanation/justification from developer regarding such overdue completion for this development as a whole (AFAIK, already delayed twice) irregardless of the photos posted.

I m not inspector lah... don't tell me the reason lah, discrepancy lah...
I m not Architect or Engineer lah.. don't tell me whether how to define CCC / VP lah..

As a layman purchaser, can you accept your developer handover the unit in this condition?
If you will happy with it, then means you r with developer...
If you not happy with it, then it's sucks.......
