Gingerbread for the Tab expected in Q1/2011 . Most obvious improvement will be the support for bigger screen up to 10". Read the full report of the features which will benefit the tab here: http://www.thegalaxytab.com/2010/12/12/wha...ung-galaxy-tab/ |

Read the full report of the features which will benefit the tab here: Gingerbread looks promising and guess it will be the upgrade that all the SGT owners looking for. By the way, what apps do you all install on SGT and is there any custom ROM available for it? Can we install Windows 7 and dual boot it with Froyo on SGT?http://www.thegalaxytab.com/2010/12/12/wha...ung-galaxy-tab/ This post has been edited by rahuldave: Dec 19 2010, 06:32 AM |

QUOTE(Rishy @ Dec 20 2010, 09:54 AM) Hmmm... Mine is full screen. Have activated the full screen hack using Spare Part? If not look for "Spare Part for Galaxy Tab" in google search. It is a youtube video.Btw it is so good, I bought the full version @ USD0.99. It allows you to change the brush size and texture. |

Seems like newspaper has announced release of more budget android and windows tablets ... 7" and 10" One of it is ZTE - The V9 is powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227. It comes with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen rated at 800 x 480 pixels, 512MB ROM + 512MB RAM, 3-megapixel camera, FM radio, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, DOCs to go(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF), and up to 32GBs in the microSD slot. What is interesting is that the V9 has a SIM card slot, so you can use the tablet for voice calls. Price at rm1000 ! |
