I looked thru internet, found a PC+TPU clear hard casing and screen protector (anti glare). The price inclusive shipping is only about RM30each at 10pcs. I'm thinking if anyone want to share, please PM me.

QUOTE(heartofjoy @ Nov 30 2010, 02:22 PM) Dear Mods, I hope I'm not breaking any rules but since people asked, the name of the shop I saw it was Cycom and prices range from RM99 to RM199 but you can try and negotiate with them. Wah so expensive For prices, look at http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=11&t=1651688 This post has been edited by adamking: Nov 30 2010, 05:54 PM |

QUOTE(daruma @ Dec 3 2010, 01:28 PM) hmm... 1. Can download paid and free US based apps e.g. Paypal, Ebay, Skype, Hungry Shark, Audible. 2. Install Adfree, take the annoying Ads away from my favourite games. 3. I can install OpenVPN, to VPN back to office and use the SIPdroid to call office for free (sorry a bit techkie). There are others, just couldn't remember them... PS: Now reading International Herald Tribune via Press Reader in coffee shop... This post has been edited by adamking: Dec 3 2010, 01:43 PM |

QUOTE(laowai @ Dec 3 2010, 02:26 PM) I assume you are referring to access to US market, need to root. Aiyoh so mahfan. I remember I spent couple of hrs searchibg for skype and trying a few version. End up the marketplace version is better. Somemore you can update thru marketplace. But if can side download the apps and then install on tab, no need root, right? |

QUOTE(daruma @ Dec 6 2010, 09:16 AM) offical car holder. not practical if already got protective case. Hmmm.. that is drawback of getting perfect fit car holder. If you upgrade your tablet, you have to retire the holder as well.http://picasaweb.google.com/jetblackforeve...feat=directlink Why dun get from me. Mine is universal, can be used with IPAD as well or any other tablet which you may buy next time. You can even used with silicon or rubber plastic with car holder, you don't need to take it out. QUOTE(daruma @ Dec 6 2010, 10:05 AM) your one quite nice. just one little thing bothers me. if need to change between portrait/landscape. need re-mount. i see.... If you have a silicon or rubber case it will hold pretty well after you fasten catches. Anyway if you around puchong / bukit jalil after office hrs can come to show you.cannot just rotate. |

QUOTE(waeguk @ Dec 6 2010, 10:32 PM) Just got SGT at ttdi The z4root can unroot but there may be risk of not able to upgrade later. If not comfortable don't do it.Can SGT owners share what their favorite apps and games are ? Added on December 6, 2010, 10:36 pmAfter rooting, can revert back to original setting? Worry about later firmware upgrade or warranty etc. |

Hi All... I have car charger in stock now.
I have a few pictures show the charger in action. FYI ... SGT requires 8.4W (5V / 1.68A) power to charge !! My colleague and I were surprised at the rating it requires. Almost 2.5 times of IPhones (~5V / 0.7A) !!.. Visit http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f...0#entry38019446 for the pictures. This post has been edited by adamking: Dec 10 2010, 11:31 AM |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Dec 10 2010, 01:48 PM) You need bluetooth headset and car holder bcos it is way too big for 1 hand use when driving.Anyway the build in mic/loudspeaker is very good, most of the time i can talk sit back while the SGT on the holder during conversation. You have to carry a waist bag or slingbag when going out. |

QUOTE(waeguk @ Dec 11 2010, 09:09 AM) Congrats mozact89. Long press the home button, it will show the last few application used. Click on the icon will open it.Btw, a question to SGT users. If I have a few active applications running, is there a quicker way to go back to a particular app? The 'active app taskbar' doesn't take me there ... it only can force/end the app. What I'm doing is go thru the apps menu to go back to the app. |

QUOTE(Charizard @ Dec 14 2010, 12:47 PM) How is your experience reading magazine or e newspaper? Cause the screen is smaller right? So, have to keep scrolling down? Does it annoying? I downloads PDF magazine from piratebay. Science Illustrated, Discovery, National Geograhic, Popular Photography, Economist and etc... It is a bit hassle to read the magazine on SGT as you need to scroll/rotate/zoom but I wouldn't complain since the magazine is "free" As for eNewpaper, the experience is the same as need to zoom and read. But too expensive to subscribe. I think it is USD0.99 per issue if using PressReader. |
