QUOTE(ckh83 @ May 22 2012, 04:37 PM) Power plug swtich off of course. Yes, but they can change the terms and conditions any time. And by signing the contract, you agree to the fact that they can do that.If maxis request me turn on, i'm happy to collect electric fee / other fee from maxis. Since contract not state that i have to turn it on and make sure service available to others. The respond I got when I asked "what if I do not agree to the changes", they said: you can choose not to agree and not sign up. But what if I already sign up and you changed the terms? "We reserve the right to make changes". Nothing cheap is good. Doesn't mean anything expensive is good either, it's your choice. |

QUOTE(Saros @ May 22 2012, 04:03 PM) If you physically power off your router, and turn off the wall plug switch, it will not magically power on. That much I'm sure i guess you guys think too much as Maxis wont dare to ask or force people to on something for its own sakeWether Maxis will send a technician to complain and force you to plug it in, I cannot answer. Please do join in the forum thread I posted above your post and pose these penetrating questions to them. However, if you leave it plugged in but turn it of... I don't know if it's possible to force it to wake up. For normal PCs however, I used to work on a computer that could do that if my admin forced it to wake up, back in uni. As long as it was plugged into the wall and the switch was on (but PC is off). Was pretty creepy to see it suddenly spin up to life. first the device need power and we need pay TENAGA for the electric bill second the device generate heat and we need to on fan or aircon to cool down our house temperature third the device will emit electromagnetic radiation (EMR) which maybe harmful and disrupt human brain |

the password of the wifi setup in the Thompson is entirely up to you to define... I just don't understand why the need to worry about this nonsense thing of sharing ur wifi with ur neighbours..

Would you know if Maxis FTTH comes with a router? I have 2 devices connected via LAN cable to my router. Just wondering if I switch to Maxis, what would happen to my 2 devices.

crazy offer ! I signed up , waiting for their call RM118 a month plus free calls and bla bla. 10Mbps, no cap (until further notice), 2 years contract. be aware though the termination fee is more strict. if you still left 12 months, u have to pay RM118x12 http://www.maxis.com.my/home/plans_fibre_10mb.asp This post has been edited by zzzxtreme: May 23 2012, 01:15 PM |
