I tempting to subscribe to Maxis FTTH but still in dilemma after reading yr guys comments and also in Maxis forum.
Still undecided to get Unifi or Maxis..both package have pro and cons to me.

Another question..anyone tried Maxis Fibre with Diablo 3?..what is the latency on the US Server during different times of the day ?

Another number listed on the Maxis FTTH website is Maxis Support: 1800-82-1123. Wonder why Maxis did not state
the toll-free number for the respective services correctly.

Full agreed..200ms range to US server from MY is considered very good indeed..

The Maxis FTTH Cust Service should do better and keep customer informed of the progress of getting the line/port open and the target installation date rather than keep quiet.

Most likely Maxis is waiting for TM to respond on the above before can commit to the installation date.


For those who have installed the Maxis FTTH, do you notice the IP address renew every 2/3 days ?
Mine got renew every few days.

How did yr get 150N ? Did the Maxis installer did this for you coz mine is 65N?

Click on the Home Network tab and you can see the Wireless network name with the speed displayed in Mbps.
Can you confirm the speed on yr side.

Does that mean my connected devices on wireless to the router are capable of 65Mbps?

Anyone knows whether Thomson router can be configure to support Channel Bonding mode in order to maximise
the theoritical max wire speed for 802.11n?

fadzly, the DOTA server is in US/EU? Usually US/Europe connection ping would be between 200-300ms.
Sometimes it the latency spikes abit due to traffic in the US/EU which depends on the route the network route the packet. This happen to me when I play D3.

Other than that, the speed is good and consistent.

if yr connection speed via speedtest on Maxis server is still slow, I suspect TM/Maxis (depends on which fibre infrastructure yr area have) is doing some kind of network work behind the scene.

bro, for D3, the latency you are getting is consider good as I do get that range 200-300.
The bar still shows Green so nothing to worry about unless it shows Red which shows either
Maxis is having problem or the US BNet server side is tremendous user load and activity.

I would think of US BNet server side issue.
