My area is Pandan Indah.

Yesterday early afternoon, two Maxis staffs and one TMnet contractor came to do the installation.
TMnet contractor took most of the time to hook up the line and find any available port at the basement.
The Maxis staff were setting up the modem/wifi router thingy.
Overall I am pretty happy.
I am now a proud user of FTTH.

Can anyone advise :

1) Can FTTH 10mbps play Sopcast? My Screamyx 1mbps just failed on this

2) Watch football online, will it smooth or keep buffering?

3) Hope those who use this FTTH 10mbps watch Europe Cup online could share the experience, thanks

You are lucky. I am still waiting for TM to setup port for my area. Until then, me and Maxis will just have to wait...wait...wait...

Call Maxis at 1800821123. Tell them you want to check application status. Give them your detail. They will call you back, hopefully. Last time I did a similar check, they only got back to me 1 week later.

call maxis and ask.

btw never register with roadside agent. they tend to "misplaced your application". better go maxis center or register online.

Got mine installed yesterday, as usual Maxis guy was on time but TM was late by 1.5 hours. Installation took just over 5 hours. Quite a big team - 1 maxis and 4 from TM. Took longer due to pipe blocked pushing the cable from one end of the road to my house. Mine was installed over the ceiling with help from my contractor guys. Overall system is good so far. Speedtest results are as per expected, 9.xx mb/s for download and a bit less for upload. Tried torrents and at one stage it hit around 1.5 MB/s for combined down and upload!! I am impressed biggrin.gif
FTTH applied on 8 June, I am in Shah Alam area.

Login to router, under application and sharing, create new port forward port for uTorrent based on the port number, then assign to the of MAC of the pc. Or use existing port forward that already in the router, but then u have to change the port number on uTorrent to the port number u selected
