It depends also..the ping is not really a significant issue unless u are doing some complicated tasks like server sharing or webhosting

I am downloading windows 8 ISO, getting DL speed around 1.2 Mbps, is this normal ?

My direct download from MS for Wins 8 ISO getting around 1.15 - 1.25MB/s . I don't use torrent prior to FTTH, just downloaded the software to test... normally the speed around 500KB/s depending on the seeders, but sometime do get up to 1.2MB/s for single torrent download. U can try download net meter 30 days trial, that can give you the Internet bandwidth reading.

Try requesting public IP, less restriction. I have IP CCTV, only works after changing to public ip.

Anyone tried FTTH wtih DurianHD ? Bought a set, but speed very slow, most of the time hang, cannot watch... something to do with MAXIS or the router? hmm... any volunteer tester in Puchong area?

Any FTTH volunteer want to test my LiulianHD? Doesn't work with my FTTH , reported to Maxis, but havent got back from them. Dunno is it my speed, Maxis or the Thomson router issue... Sianz...
