Register yesterday...installation in 1 months +...... 

Actually can someone verify the procedure for registration to Maxis FTTH for current Unifi users?

1. Terminate unifi first, then register Maxis FTTH, wait until installation date.

2. Register Maxis FTTH first, then given installation date, terminate Unifi

Just signup at Home Fiber 10mbps at last Friday(25 May) with DrPitchard,
today received a call from that my installation date is 24 Jul , this is the early date they can be arranged,
sadly i need to wait for 2month....

for those who were like to signup the plan,be mentally prepared maybe need to wait for a few month.

After quota capped to 512kbps is a complete turnoff.

Just wondering lah, assuming I am crazy. Can I have both Maxis FTTH and UniFi at the same time? Do they use the same fiber box from outside?

Because Maxis say my area has coverage, but I don't see any Maxis Fiber box, only TM.

I don't think we can get less than 200ms ping to US server due to distance. Light needs time to travel and it's definitely not at speed of light c in fiber optic cables (not vacuum). 

If can get less than 300ms is considered very good already for USA servers.

just wanna ask, is maxis fiber home stable as Unifi?
currently using VIP5 n im happy with it except the speed n the price compare to maxis fiber

Actually i have downloaded past tv  series while on unifi, now i always wait for new episode and download.

First few months on unifi, my average download is around 350gb per month......now mostly is to download wet movies....hehe

that is expensive..
my 1mb streamyx is only rm88

great to hear feedback from u that the installation for a highrise took u only 30 minutes, the installer says my apartment need to spare a 4 hours installation time for this week on mine. im hope can be done in 30 minutes.

BTW, did maxis call u for any phone no selection? I called the helpline to check, found out the number given, too bad, no one called me for selection, now waiting someone more maxis to call for other no selection but need to pay rm25. i rather pay than having a no a lot digit 4.
