QUOTE(petlu28 @ Jun 4 2012, 04:08 PM) I register thru Maxis CS. Then sat Maxis Home department call me & email form to me. Today 1pm++ sent form to them. After 1 hour ++ installation department call me date come install. Hi petlu28, Could you tell me which phone number did you call to register for this promotion? Is it 1800821123? Or did you walk in? Because I just called , and customer service Lizi told me that we cannot register this over the phone only by walk in. Then I asked her about subscribing online, and I even told her that I tried that last week however she told me their website never received my application because that just happens. So I asked her is she telling me that Maxis website is useless and she said "Yes that's the case or we just don't receive your submission" This post has been edited by meme00: Jun 5 2012, 08:48 AM

If I register for this 10mbps plan now and later down the road, say maybe 5 months time I move to new address, can I change my address for this maxis plan? If it is possible to relocate the service and after the transfer do I pay for RM218 then or still the rate of RM118? (Can somebody reconfirm on this please? I don't want to register and then after changing address paying for new rate) And the contract time will be reset right? What do you guys think? Should I grab this offer now or should I wait until I change to new address, it is still many months ahead though and at that time I am paying 218 and not 118 anymore. Thanks guys.

After that 2 hours later installation dept call me inform me this Thursday will come install. That time around my area a bit noisy so today will make double confirm with them. Added on June 5, 2012, 11:12 amQUOTE(Matrix @ Jun 5 2012, 11:01 AM) Yeah, why the ping so high? I am staying with my 5MB Streamyx. I believe that is an expected latency. The further the server , the higher the ping. Under 300ms ping to US server is considered ideal if you attempt to play games hosted in USA (such as Diablo 3). My friend in singapore also get about 200ms-250ms ping to USA battlenet server. I think this is due to physical limit of light.. Can someone here do some ping test to Battlenet server in USA and some local servers in Malaysia? Those who are using Maxis HSBB via VDSL, can post the ping test to the local server?
