hi guys....just check my engine bay...i notice that my car also suffer the famous tak tak tak sound....and my iafm module has the yellow qc sticker on it....i remember i read somewhere in the thread where those with the yellow sticker just need to modify the iafm to solve the tak tak sound....true?? so far fc is pretty ok and i only can hear the tak tak sound if i open up the bonnet...won't notice it inside the cabin.

what engine oil u use?

low viscosity oil also can make engine produce those sound,

i'm using magnatec 10w-40...

hi guy, when my car cruising highway around 110 and above there a ratling sound at dashboard and i don't know where it come from. And driver side mirror there also got rattling sound when speeding but when i use my hand press on to the mirror the sound is gone. Dam annoying when speeding.

Anyone experience on this, just 1.6k mileage

Today is really a weird day ... just now my PE alarm got problem ...
here's the scenario :
Drop down my mum at some shop , when the door close , the door lock again ok ..
then I park my car , door unlock when ignition turn off and key taken out . Door closed , I press the lock button on the car key
then .. car hazard light flash and ti ti(a few times)/(door could not be lock using car key button) even I press the trunk release button but nothing happen .
I though got door didn't closed properly.
ok , check all door(open and closed again) but still could not be lock but i saw the alarm was activated(red dot flashing) .
I open the door but the alarm did not went off (red dot still flashing) , so I had to lock the car using the key

after 10 min , unlock the car using key. started the car with the red dot still flashing .. drive all the way home(red dot still flashing) .
reach home , check all door again , open the trunk (pulling the level under the seat) slam it hard , then only the red dot stop and could
be lock again(using the key button) ... what seems to be the problem ? I though again need to go SC , hope will not happen again ...
weird huh..

Errr, try to unscrew the nut on your battery then attach it back, it will restore the car alarm system.... this might help.. i know it helps with my friend's toyota vios.

I think i saw in the manual before ... there is away u can reset the alarm without doing that... try checking it out ... is got something to do with pressing the button on the top of ur radio

I know about that , start o not start , Press the button many times also nothing happen .
I think its only when the alarm went off , u need to turn the key to 'ON' then press the 'reset button' then only the alarm resets

it's not alarm, but ur rear trunk didn't close properly, thats y the alarm can't lock it, release trunk then close again that's the answer, and u already done it~

but if the trunk din't closed properly(door will lock but with hazard light and sound flashing and if u press once more will unlock)
mine has no responds at all only hazard light and ti ti ti , that's what I thought I haven't closed properly
but the alarm still armed even I started the car and driving (the red dot indication still on , on the meter) that's the problem ..

I experienced the same thing and i sent my car for tyre balancing. The car goes smoothly @120kmh with lesser rattling sound.

same like mine lately, i lock but hazard light flash 3time or more, with titi sound and also no alarm sound phonk-phonk-phonk just light only,
i drive to sc with LED inside blinking and ask and their easy settle open my trunk then close again and lock alarm that's all, i'm like a big LOL! that time

one of ur door did not closed properly i guess. as i remember according to manual, the times of beep sound indicate either ur door, bonnet or trunk did not closed properly. then when u press trunk release, u released the trunk (h-line?) thus after that u closed ur door properly but trunk still open, thats why when u reach home u close the trunk and it's ok again.

Btw rear left door really hard to close... complain but it still like that

I solve 1 rattling sound from SC. wch is the one that came when i accelerate between 2k-3k RPM.
the other rattling sound is not solved yet. wch is the one tht came out from aircond vent.

VS and ground cable is just add in and running parallel ..i not modify or cut anything
If really got problem can just dismantle the thing to claim warranty...so far no problem
