going to get my persona hline auto yr 08 on wednesday.....since the car had traveled about 40k by the previous owner, do i need to send the car to proton sc or any 'bawah pokok' kedai servis for service? the service record shows that the car has serviced until 20k....can i continue the warranty by sending the car to the proton sc?

once u skip one service interval there will be no more warranty. 20k to 40k there's at least two service interval
*
thanks for the info....i thought the maintenance interval is 10k? i might just send the car to proton sc for the 40k service.... biggrin.gif

you can check the engine oil level by inspecting the engine oil dip.....check whether it's over the max level mark....

urs is with or without IAFM?

Added on September 17, 2010, 9:33 pmbtw just some information sharing....

my bro's newly own 2nd hand Persona H line Auto 08 model non IAFM.... i noticed that the FC is stated 11 per 100km as compared to my persona 09 IAFM Auto at 7.8 per 100KM. That is a huge difference!

Are those non IAFM version really suck far more fuel than its upgraded versions?
*
mine is with IAFM....fc looks ok to me...compare to my wira 1.3...but not better than latio... smile.gif

hi guys....just check my engine bay...i notice that my car also suffer the famous tak tak tak sound....and my iafm module has the yellow qc sticker on it....i remember i read somewhere in the thread where those with the yellow sticker just need to modify the iafm to solve the tak tak sound....true?? so far fc is pretty ok and i only can hear the tak tak sound if i open up the bonnet...won't notice it inside the cabin.

last time my iswara i kena like dat .....  it was from the aircond...

Look below the glove compartment... see if the air cond hose accidentally disconnected. Very simple only

If still intact, then u have some place water leaking in. Send to SC check.
*
QUOTE(h4dRi @ Oct 1 2010, 07:31 PM)
even if the hose is still intact, it could now become bent and restrict the water flow
*
checked the hose....still intact, but i suspect the aircond is the culprit...my second hand car dealer ask me to bring in the car for a check up....
