i still confuse, why in book just mention to service next 20k after 10k service, does that mean we need to service every 5k, but at service book not mention it,
some one pls give me clear about this as my 10k service just around corner now

I think the service booklet got mention it la , try and see at the back (service routine) , there's a page which states (For heavy usage)
Replace engine oil - 5000KM/6months
most of the SVC will list ur service every 5k

No need be complicated about changing oil,if u put not semi oil u must change it 5k,if semi 6k-8k,if fullu 10k.ATF better change at 20k.but when we should change ATF filter?

Hi, yes we need to service every 5K at proton service centre, the booklet only printed the 10,20k,30k for major service. and for the 15k,25,35k... it will be chopped at the back of the page(confirmed by the person that attend my car service at sec13). any outside service will void warranty.

even fully, we need to change every 5k becuz proton oil filter oni last 5km. so it isn't worth to use fully in proton while the warranty still valid

u make me confuse here,what warranty will void if we service outside?engine or the whole car?as i know warranty doesnt void if we service outside as long we ddnt changing or modi stuff in the engine or body.example we change absorber or spring to after market,then absorber warranty will be missing others part still got.mybe i dono so much,but that was what i understand before

i did my 1k, 6k, and 11k with proton..16k did outside, never mention to SC about that. then i came back to SC for major service at 22k. they just chopped my service booklet as normal..and dont said anything, or ask where i service my car on 16k

wat item did u get done on ur car during 15k service? erm.. sure proton sc didn recognize anything?


when surveying for engine oil, 1 shop offer me rm97 for enoes oil, free oil filter.. quite interest me~

That's quite odd. Most would have taken the simple task of testing the remote controller keys to see whether they work or not when collecting new vehicle. Don't blame others for your own mistake. Second mistake is to ask everyone here whether to go back to claim for battery. Please don't make a third.

just engine oil n oil filter..just make sure u use geniune one filter
