I went to SC yesterday for 5000km service interval and look what they have found. my fead belt really worn out, luckily it didn't break while me driving. they told me that it was part defect (mean; their supplier of this belt are to blame). really frustrated to see new car with 6000km age already already have such problem. my 158,000km age kelisa had never such problem. i told the sc, why proton car have so much problem? I really regret not getting perodua car instead and they only smile and said "thank you for supporting us at proton". huh...

if under warranty go claim
2 years warranty is to claim things...no need wait

standard warranty 2 years plus extended warrnty 3 years..sums up to 5 years

anyone change to silicon wiper? the ori one is bad.

Change sport rim , scared later wheel bearing spoilt or suspension..Then SC will void it. (Not sure if we change same size will kacau or not)
As for wiper, i still use original since April 1st 2010, so far so good...cause weekly wash car, and applied Rain X on the wind screen.

To all concerned. Can we not discuss FC anymore.  Persona is definitely a "gas guzzler" period - because of its sturdy build. Try to enjoy your ride & not think too much of every $ burning out of the exhaust tailpipe.  There are definitely many more economical rides out there for the fuel conscious to choose from.

My advice to all those potential buyers of the Persona who are considering this car - If you cannot afford the petrol, opt for something smaller.

synthium 800 is the worst engine oil i use so far, no power at all and engine very noisy using this engine oil during 1k service.

so far i've using shell helix h7 , idemitsu semi 10w-40, and idemitsu fully 5w-40, really can't feel any difference between semi and fully

Seriously I'm grateful i bought Persona!

But i thought it was mentioned in the brochure that the PE H-Line has "Lotus Ride and Handling - Precise to the last millimetre" and "GRIP, STABILITY & RESPONSE"???  Shouldn't that means it can handle corners better?  Or it's just a gimmick?? 

By the way, may I know if it's OK to fill the tires more than 32kpa?  What happens if it goes above 32kpa?  Reason for asking is because it looks quite flat even at 32kpa for the front...
