i did mine with 1.5vcore only without major tweaking,if tweak here tweak there i believe it can be less than 1.5 for 500*8

500 is already considered high for quaddies, its diff with duallies where 500 is a norm.

i know..thats why,perhaps someone can break that 500 barrier that unusual

wat to do... buying proc is like buying lottery if we dont know much about which batch is good... btw, my Q9550 able to reach 3.8ghz around 1.41v... too high for 24/7 usage... currently settle down at 3622MHZ

1.41v is quite high for yorkfield, but to me if load temp is around 60c it should be ok.

mine needs 1.435v bios to pass OCCT 30 minit

i using tpower i45... the minimum increment after certain voltage for vcore is +0.05... so i can go 1.40,1.45,1.50,1.55,1.60... thats why hard to tweak =.=... and i notice that tpower i45 needs more voltage to stabilize... im stable 3.6ghz @ 1.45v passed intel burn test 10/10 loops...

idle temp is 37.. load temp is 55 max...

I think you can improve the Delta using a better pump.

My idle temp is 50c and my load (both proc and gpu) temp is 60c. Using Storm V1 + DD Maze4 GPU + Laing D4 + HWlabs BIX2.

18C delta for a WC is high... iirc, it should be 12C max and below...

my xig s1283 delta is 18C... Idle 51C, Load 69C

enough la.. wat u expect a rm40 pump to deliver?.. Might consider Laing d5 if I'm adding more blocks to my loop..
