hey guys,im using e8400 EO,ep45-ud3r,crucial callistix tracer red800,i try to oc it but i get this spinning problem,i change the fsb to 420 vcore1.321 n it should go to sumtin like 3.7n then i save exit,open cpuz then,wtf it show 3.0@333.3@1333.3 just like i didnt do a thing to it,must be sumtin wrong i forgot to adjust sumtin maybe,before this 4yers ago i star to oc then i resign from it now trying to start back n forgot many things ady,can some1 explain this to me

Dual bios is in action..
re-enter the bios overclock setting page..
if the bios failed to OC the proc..the 2nd backup bios will kick in..thus u will get all default setting

which means ur OC setup is failing..instead unable to boot at all and need to reset bios..the system will boot on the 2nd bios(at failsafe setting) giving u a chance to re-enter the bios page and re-adjust ur setting

Just a test using the pc of my office:

E6550@2.33Ghz (no overclocking)
2 Gig RAM
Stock heatsink..

I can see that with a stock heat sink, it can reach until 72 celcius maximum.. With no overclocking..

While my home PC, E7400, OC from 2.8 till 3.74Ghz, can reach until 72 celcius with a CM TX2 heat sink..

anyone here overclock E4500?? i checked on the first page ony e4400,i ony manage overclocked to 2995MZh which is 295x10 with 1.40vcore 2.10 ddr2 voltage & 1.35 mch voltage, more then that my pc wont stable anymore...im using a Abit ib9 mobo with 1gbx2 corsair twin xms2 with 4-5-5-15 latency & 600wat vantec psu my core temp when normal use is around 40-42c & when full load is 62c. last time i overclock to 3245 mzh which is 295x11 (my highest multiplier)stable but i need to encrease my vcore to 1.650...too much power i guess & my temp was around 75c when full load,im using a stock cooler but i use many fan & i opened my casing cover ( backside my mobo ) & blow it with my 3' table fan..tongue.gif...im trying to get atleast 3300mzh speed...maybe otai here can help me out...
