Go for BBS rims, can't go wrong with Golfs.
MTM rims nice but hard to find in Msia, have to head down to SG.

i guess it will be nice if they introduce a higher end version with 17", leather seats and electric seats.. around 160k.
btw, i think the lifespan of Mk6 won't be long, that is Mk7 will probably be introduced in 2012 or 13.
in VAGSG forums, there's some worry about the mechatronics of the DSG.
Pretty sure there will more discussion on scirocco and polo when it arrives to showroom.
Spotted a Golf red in color at Bangsar yesterday. Honestly those 16" rims looks small for that car. 17" or 18" would look better.

There has been much excitement, and speculation, since the announcement that Volkswagen has signed an MoU with DRB-Hicom to locally assemble cars at the latter’s Pekan plant. Following the announcement in August on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DRB-HICOM Berhad to collaborate on local assembly, Volkswagen would like to reiterate the content of the MoU that both parties are still in the early stage of investigating local vehicle assembly. The joint plans envisage the production of Volkswagen models in Malaysia from 2012 onwards.
The matter is still under negotiations and as a policy, Volkswagen will not comment on ongoing discussions. Suffice it to say, the models / variants in negotiations to be locally assembled will not be the models which are currently offered in Malaysia.
VGM’s current range consists of the five-door Polo 1.2 TSI, New Beetle, Golf 1.4 TSI, Scirocco (160 PS/210 PS), Golf GTI, Passat CC, Eos, Tiguan and Touareg V6 SUV.

100% sure. since i was at the showroom and the 1.4 was parked next to another tornado red GTI.. so i had a good look at both to c the differences. The amaryllis red is sort of darker n maroonish like...
