dun forget the on the road amount still need add 3-4k more ... since VW website there is state "Nett selling price"
*

i'm replying based on his calculation, seems funny why its off by 500 a month, and for 7 years its like 42000......3-4k is nothing compared to 100k car.

Oh? Yea ka?
dang that autoworld.com.my calculator..!!

weird.. hlb online payment calculator also get what I calculated but the Proton Edar calculator got what you gave... rclxub.gif
*
i'm sure a VW salesman can give you a true monthly payment wink.gif go check it out and test drive Golf GTi first ^^

and i think every car buyer should sit tight and dont buy anything yet. 2011 seems like gomen is slowly trying to open up the car market, and becos of this, proton has to rebatch lancer first, no time for R&D for another car already. 207 sedan, 308 sedan, fiesta, now VW, market is opening smile.gif and all under the name of ckd, lol.

QUOTE(dantck @ Aug 17 2010, 07:43 PM)
the performance of the (is polo) match the local RM5xk car.
*
it matches the torque of civic's 1.8L(even better because of lower rpm), i can't think of any local rm5xk car that can do that

how ironic.. the Germans perceive Golf like how we perceive Wira, they perceive Polo like how we perceive Kancil.. but once Golf and Polo landed in msia... wah "Dream Car"

Malaysia Boleh doh.gif

I am currently in Taiwan and just saw Golf 1.4 TSI ad... its NTD888k only (RM88.8k laugh.gif )

firstly because of tax, 2nd because they don't sell smaller engine..

there is golf 1.4 turbo with only 122PS
and polo 1.2 non turbo...
and loads of diesel choices
but indeed VW is "people's car"

are you talking about the 2.0TSI engine? well basically the golf with similar engine also can do what scirocco can do. but most people see golf gti like a normal car. scirocco will turn everybody's head

yes on these cars cruising 180-210 is easy tongue.gif
*
Yes, the Scirocco in which my family is using right now has the 2.0 TSi engine. Well, that's because the Scirocco has a very sexy exterior.. and it's not as common as Golf, so seeing one can be counted as a special occasion. cool2.gif

Cruising 180km/h in the rain is not a problem either. Other cars will DEFINITELY clear the right lane just for you in the rain. laugh.gif

*

just received invitation...

Si-rokok ready for booking... rclxms.gif

The new Volkswagen Scirocco 160PS TSI with DGS. From188,888*.

A bad habit is coming your way. So, it’s no surprise that you might get carried away by its powerful torque (240Nm), revel in a twincharged TSI engine and be impressed with modest fuel consumption (6.3l/100km) thanks to the intelligent direct shift gearbox DSG.

yeah, 1.4ltr. errr... for loan and mthly payment details it depends on how much you are putting down for down payment. but assuming you need 90% financing it ranges from 1,7xx to 2,7xx depending on your loan tenor lor. HP interest rate also vary between banks from a range of 3.2 - 4%.

Resale values are important for those who upgrade often... What do you want to upgrade to if you have a polo?
You heard it's small, just check the dimensions, I don't think numbers lie, it's similar to jazz, unless you think jazz is small lar tongue.gif
