I checked-in online for international flight, no check-in luggage.

You must print your boarding pass and bring along with you - it's got 2 copies.

If no check-in luggage, then of course no need go to bag drop counter; go straight to departure gate. Just before u get to immigration counter, there's AirAsia staff who will verify and "stamp" your boarding pass (that u printed yourself).

Then u go thru normal procedures and at the boarding counter, the AA staff tear off 1 of your boarding pass copies.

OKOK...just now in vietnam, curi ppl wireless internet no good and always DC, so now since i arrive safely in Zhuhai, and finish bath and eat d, I gona post full story here.

Since the story is very long, I gona put a TL;DR version , which is

"Penang to Macau, emergency landing at some place in Vietnam. Total Flight hours 13 HOURS!

Today, I take an Air Asia flight from Penang to Macau. Since I book late, so I pay a hefty sum of it. Total my flight cost me RM1500++ for 2 way.

Flight depart at Penang at 7.55AM. Everything is fine, food is good, seat is good (since nobody seat beside me)

Then suddenly at 9.30 AM ++, everything change. The flight had gone into some slight turbulence, which is OK since the weather is quite good. But then suddenly announcement and announcement are made, saying that the plane is losing pressure, so suddenly POP, the oxygen mask come down, and all of us are need to wear it! 1st time I face this kind of situation.

All of us wear it for like almost 1hour, and then they pilot say that we will land soon. At that time it's only 10.20 AM, and I think, no way eh so fast reach Macau.

And only when we landed, safely thanks god, we were told that we landed in an airport in Vietnam. Not Hoh Chi Min or Hanoi, but Danang.

Man, where is this place????!!!! All of us are not allowed to go down as we were told that the Vietnam immigration department does not allow us to do so. We were not allowed to use the plane toilet at 1st too! The flight attendant told us that she can't be responsible if anything happened to us inside the toilet.

Wafark??? The plane is in a complete stop!

Until after 30minutes or so, they finally gave in and let us use the toilet. At this point of time, we were also told that the plane pressure control system sensor is down, and they need to fix it. Estimate time for complete? DON'T KNOW!!!!

At around 1 PM,we were finally allowed to get down the plane and rest at the airport. We were also told that they are sending an air asia plane from Kuala Lumpur to come and rescue us. Estimate time? 4 to 5 hours!!! OH SHIATZZZZ

THe airport is such a small lousy place. Only 1 shop 1 stall are open. 1 is the duty free shop that sell loads of liquor and some souvenir, and some potato chips. Another stall are selling drinks. Thats it. No Food was sold there, besides some potato chips!

OH GOSH!

At around 2.30 PM, air asia did compensate us something to eat. They provide food for freee!!! YAY!!! But what is given? 1 bottle of mineral water and 1 sandwich! Thats it!

until around 5 PM, everyone is getting impatient. The flight attendant and pilot are nowhere to be seen, and we are unable to find any help.

Luckily, at around 5.30 PM, the vietnam air asia manager arrive. He told us that the flight from Kuala Lumpur will arrive at 6 PM. We bombard him with questions, such as what is happening, when will we reach macau, how air asia gona compensate and many more.

And KUDOS to that manager, he is very patient, and he always apologize to us and try to help us as much as he can.

HOWEVER, he simply is not doing enough as no air asia plane to be saw at 6 PM. Everyone rush down and try to create a riot. The airport security totally unable to handle us as we are simply outnumbered them. Besides, a few of the security guards are also quite pity to us as he know how long had we waited so he did not really care.

At around 6.20PM, we finally saw the new air asia plane, and we were allowed to board the plane at around 6.50PM.

All of us demand for free dinner as we were all starved. The manager told us he will try his best.

But only when we board the plane, they only found out that the food available simply enough to serve 80++ people only. Totally unable to serve everyone!!!!!!

Gosh, and in the end, the food are given to children and elders, while others only get snack.

And its free, and even they can give free flow water now. Which is good.

Finally, all of us landed safely at Macau at around 9.00PM. I am able to rush to Zhuhai too in time before the immigration department close

I am here for a business trip so it's still sorta ok for me. I pity those who came here for tour. There are 3 travel agency in the plane, and a day just gone like that.

the thing we use.....

Hey guys, a question to ask.

I have just refunded my AirAsia ticket recently due to some unforeseen circumstances and i have a credit shell of RM 2,728 in my account.

Any idea where i can advertise to sell this credit shell with cash (with 10% discount on the tickets)?

Hi all.

I'm still confused about the 'Web Check In' time period for me, my flight to UK is on Sunday 12.12.10 2:30PM.

I bought/booked my flight online with a Debit VISA card.

So is my time limit for web check in:
a. between now to 05.12.10 2:30pm or
b. between 05.12.10 to 12.12.10 before 10:30AM ?

I have booked 1 luggage only for my flight, not booked meals yet but now I want to.

Here's the extract from AA's FAQ:

When can you use our Self Check-In services?

* Web Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time
* Mobile Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Mobile Check-In page on airasia.com for more information)
* Kiosk Check-in will be available from 24 hours to 1 hour before scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Kiosk Check-In page on airasia.com for more information)

u do not need to fill in the passport no . it is optional

Most important, is to make sure ur name/IC/birth date is correct. (aka those in *.)
