You can always change your details in the future via airasia.com page. Just go to my flight>manage my booking and edit your pasport details in there.

Hi all.

I'm still confused about the 'Web Check In' time period for me, my flight to UK is on Sunday 12.12.10 2:30PM.

I bought/booked my flight online with a Debit VISA card.

So is my time limit for web check in:
a. between now to 05.12.10 2:30pm or
b. between 05.12.10 to 12.12.10 before 10:30AM ?

I have booked 1 luggage only for my flight, not booked meals yet but now I want to.

Here's the extract from AA's FAQ:

When can you use our Self Check-In services?

    * Web Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time
    * Mobile Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Mobile Check-In page on airasia.com for more information)
    * Kiosk Check-in will be available from 24 hours to 1 hour before scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Kiosk Check-In page on airasia.com for more information)
*
Web check-in and mobile check-in - 7 days to 4 hours before departure time, thus you can start your check in starting from 5/12/10 2.30pm until 12/12/10 10.30pm. So 12/12/10 at 10.31 you have to go to airport and do normal/kiosk check-in.

Kiosk check-in - 24hours to 1 hours, you can check-in starting from 11/12/10 2.30pm until 12/12/10 1.30pm. 12/12/10 1.31pm, you have to go ro counter for normal check-in.

12/12/10 1.46pm, if you still didn't check-in, take a taxi and go home and cry while banging your head against the taxi window haha.

If I were you I would just get travel insurance from insurance agents. Save the trouble if got any problems with either airline. Later you buy AA wan, then they say you fly Jetstar so cannot claim this that.  sweat.gif

Agree with munkeyflo. I usually buy hsbc wan coz i can buy it online, easy.

Imo, Bangkok is cheaper. Can get decent accommodation with lower price than Bali.
Expenses mostly on shopping.

Bali have to hire driver. More expensive. Bangkok can just take the train. smile.gif

bali can be cheap bcoz tune hotel is having a promotion as well, and rent a motorcycle to travel around

Just leave the pasport no blank when you book, when you already renew your pasport, add the detail through manage my booking. I always do that.

What Is The Promo For Tonight?
*
My guess is, the promo tommorow is like a jualan penghabisan stok for those unsold RM1 ticket last May 2011. The period of travel is the same. Since i've already booked all my ticket during the May 2011 promotion, i won't bother too much bout this one. However for those who miss last round, this will be the time.

Hiya, I've been to HCM last year, yes it's that bad, people are rude, they only want your $. Plus it was super hot. My hubby's uncle went to Hanoi and he just loves that place. Infact he goes there every year so I guess that speaks alot.
*
I've been to HCM and it's quite okay for me. Infrastrucutre is very intriguing. My vietnamese friend even say that Hanoi people is not nice at all haha they just wanna con your money. They say because of the deep communist mentality in Hanoi, people are more harsh in Hanoi region. I don't know which is which. So i guess it's better if we go to both place and judge by ourselves.

i received call from AIA insurance personnel, they say Airasia collaborating with them to sell a medical insurance.. true? rm100+ per month, 3years or 10 years. full refund after 10 year if did not make any claims.
*
Better check the product and compare with other insurance product in the market. Regardless of their collaboration, their product might be crap, it's just that they try to make you feel that you are the chosen one.

The marketing people will always say "this product is offered exclusively to Airasia customer bla bla bla".

Full refund if no claim for 10 years? What's the point of buying a medical insurance if you expect no claim. This is a medical insurance, an insurance where you claim for reimbursement even for minor claim such as the cost of your cough syrup, panadol, etc.
