Air Asia used to fly to UAE right? But it pulled out because of 'economic reason'. Too many middle east airlines trying to compete I guess. If they are going to fly to Egypt again, why not UAE then? UAE is more convenient as it is more to the middle.

QUOTE(divasweet_77 @ Jun 23 2011, 01:15 AM) The rumors have been around quite sometimes, I did ask one of the big shot in AA, but she only said "we will go anywhere we can go". just have to wait and see..
I took AA to London.. and it's not bad.. I'm a simple person with a simple need.. as long as the seat is ok, got makan and got toilet.. good enough for me. Knowing AA and with the price I paid for the tickets, i always give myself rooms to accept that there maybe delays or whatever hiccups along the way.. MAS also got delay.. 14 hrs delay somemore.. HOw much did you pay for a return trip and when was it?

I took AAX to London recently. Seat config is 3 3 3; nine seats in a row. Comfortable and enough leg space, want more leg room get hot seats. During promo, can get for about 2K all in. Got mine at 2.75K all in.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 24 2011, 01:34 PM) For PRE PURCHASE BAGGAGE 20KG, can the weights be separated to several bags, example 10 kg x 2 bags? QUOTE(ronnie @ May 24 2011, 01:58 PM) As long as total checked-in baggage is less or equal to 20kg QUOTE(munkeyflo @ May 24 2011, 02:14 PM) One person one checked in bag. If two person, each book 15kg. Total is 30kg. As long as the two checked in bag is within that 30kg its fine. hmm , one person one check in bag?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jun 27 2011, 06:13 PM) hmm , one person one check in bag? I've called their hotline to check. It doesn't matter how many bags you have, as long as total weight is the total weight that you have bought for the luggage allowance.

I flew AA from KL-CHC few days ago. Everything went perfectly well. Book hot seats as well, very comfy. No problem or whatsoever. Overall very very satisfied with the service. Of course the food not that nice, but it's not a big issue. Hehe.

QUOTE(Shazzac @ Jun 21 2011, 11:46 AM) Wow not bad. Was wondering when they are flying to USA or Canada or other parts of Europe. Until then, will have no choice but to take full commercial airline as I'm too lazy to run from 1 airport to another airport. Flying to US continent is classified as extended-long haul. Most full service airlines break down their flights with a stopover. For instance, Singapore Airlines stops at Taiwan. United Airlines make a stop in Tokyo. Thai Airways previously had a direct non-stop flight to New York, but has been discontinued. AirAsia will need to have a well-planned launch. So probably waiting for a bigger plane, and considering which airport will allow it to do that. The closest American airports are on the west coast. So that could be an indication. Such as LA, Seattle. Destinations approved: http://denzukefinance.blogspot.com/2011/06...a-istanbul.htmlKathmandu was on the block but seems delayed: http://denzukefinance.blogspot.com/2011/04...-june-2011.htmlAnother possible destination: http://denzukefinance.blogspot.com/2011/03...n-guessing.html Added on June 29, 2011, 11:10 amQUOTE(chewkl @ Jun 14 2011, 10:22 AM) Anyone knows when will be AA's next sale? I missed the previous one in May. Thanks in advance. Next AirAsia Big Sale is November 2011 http://denzukefinance.blogspot.com/2011/02...aunch-date.htmlHere is some analysis: http://denzukefinance.blogspot.com/2011/02...-promotion.htmlAnd how to plan, prepare and get that lowest fare without frustrations: http://denzukefinance.blogspot.com/2011/02...ia-flights.htmlThis post has been edited by denzuke76: Jun 29 2011, 11:10 AM

Is it this one? http://blog.airasia.com/index.php/hot-seat...n-long-haul-airIt's the exact same seat. I would say even more comfortable than economy seats on SIA Airbus A380 double decked (both upper and lower level) to UK I took last two years. Mine was the one near the lavatory and can put the baby bassinet there. 17A B and C on the Airbus A330. I actually book 16 D and F and there was another guy at G but since 17 A B C was empty so I moved to the window seats. Try not to take the center ones (D F G) cause I notice people tend to keep on crossing there. The guy who sat there had to move his legs a lot of times for people to cross there. I find the lavatory convenient. Can go anytime and especially nonit to stand there and wait when there is a lot of people.

Hi there, i have a question to ask.
Did anybody over here, travel with one hand carry bag together with one DSLR bag? because i was unsure that whether if they allow both bag to be carry up to the plane. of cos i will ensure that the weight will never exceed 7kg.
Just a normal hand carry sling bag and another DSLR bag. Thanks for help.

On my trip on Thai Airways, I had a laptop/netbook bag (2 kg), camera bag (Canon SX10 camera, it is not the huge DSLR so weight is about 500 grams), and a small grocery bag for other stuff, water, light jacket. Unless your camera is huge with all the dozen lenses, it should be allowed.

Usually most airlines will let you have a cabin luggage (max 7kg) and a handbag/DSLR bag/Laptop bag. For your case I'm very sure they won't kacau you at all. I carried my laptop bag weighing like 9kg plus a roller cabin bag 7k on my latest AA flight.
