Oh...you like to sit quietly beside a stranger far away from your hubby/bf or your loved one is it ?

my bad, I didn't know your preference and that's bad for AA
Perhaps you didn't read my post properly.
This is about ethical business practice. When you
book 3 seats under ONE (1) booking, Ethically, AA should allocate the seats closest possible. But AA's automatic seat allocation system intentionally or unintentionally break up the seats several rows away to force passenger to pay for togetherness. ( It is still ok if it is just 1 row behind)
As for the AA is a low cost airline....not totally true. For example all in return airfare to London in mid November is more expensive than MAS as at today booking.
Services like extra luggage weight, priority red seats ets ets ..need to pay no doubt about it. But getting paid unethically by breaking out the seats under one booking is not right.
I highlighted the issue here so that more passengers will voice out their complains to the ground staff and subsequently AA can take corrective measures to improve and to be a better passenger friendly airline.
So... I guess you also have no issue with the impending July price hike by Astro huh ?

Well like monkeyflo has explained, it is not intentionally.
You have to understand that you are not the only booking 3 seats under 1 booking. There are many twin and triple seats under 1 booking hence you MIGHT be separated when you check in. Plus most probably alot of those twin and triple seats under 1 booking - they paid for their seats already.
It goes the same with full commercial airline. If check in early (for both full commercial & low cost airline), then the probability to be seated together is much higher.
And no, I don't care if my BF sits like 10 rows away or I'm sitting next to a stranger. Nothing wrong with that.
Well, AA offers low pricing at only a few seats. MAS also what. If they are offering ALL seats at that price - then bankrupt la? It's for those first come first pay hence getting the ticket. If you think MAS is cheaper then can book MAS, didn't say you should.
No, I have no issues of Astro hiking the price. U also want salary increment right? If dun like the price, I will just cancel la. No big deal.
