Different house cater for different needs, no right or wrong. When I was young, I like condo, after married, landed 2-3 storey, when old, my dream is single storey bungalow facing the sea....

I think the 2-storey Semi D exterior does not look as grand as the 3-storey, it also does not have luxury features like top floor garden, jacuzzi, & outdoor shower. However, 2-storey Semi D is much more practical for a regular family and much easier to maintain as it does not have all the excessive luxury features as listed above. I think the 3-storey Semi D is not practical & will be hard to maintain for the following reasons:

- Double Volume Living Area - hard to change light bulb ot clean ceiling fan, aircond cost will be high
- Top floor outdoor area & jacuzzi requires lots of cleaning
- Top floor glass panel skighlight roof over the jacuzzi- soon the glass roof will be quite dirty, i don't know how you could clean it as its so high up, use a sky lift?
- Acoustic problem between ground floor living & first floor family area - living & dining area will be quite noisy if somebody is watching tv upstairs.

Having said that, the 3-storey Semi D definitely looks better if you are a regular party host. It also provides the 'wow' factor to your guests with the above luxury features.

Coolguy,

Totally agree with u. Just ask those who has an existing double volume living area and they can share their experience with u.

Hey guys, I normally do not pipe in especially in forums like these and tend to stay in the background and read the comments. However, I have recently invested in the 2 storey semi-d as well and was appalled by the quality of the finishing sad.gif... really feel that I need to feedback to ensure that TMS listens to her customers. Let me know how we can rally together to ensure they fix the issue.

note: I have already filled up the feedback form but I am unsure if they do take our comments into consideration. Btw, great to see this thread alive especially with updates from UFO-ET and coolguy smile.gif

Have a great day guys!!

cheers..

There is another invitation form Mah Sing on 9 April. This Saturday, so we should voice our concern of the material used and finishing.

I am hoping TMS will not be the DEVELOPER in Klang Valley to provide low qualty product for high end property. TMS must be making good margin with healthy compounded annual net profit growth rate of 51%.
(By i Property.com during interview with Senior Management of TMS)

"We made a conscious decision to go medium, medium-high and high end with our properties, and our mantra was “location, quality and branding”. The Mah Sing brand encapsulates the concept, product, quality, standard of design, customer service and track record." Quoted during interviewed by i Property with...........

Mah Sing’s vision is to be a regional world-class developer hope all this is NATO........

For those buyer have yet to feedback, 9th Apr is perfect timing for feedback to TMS using thier standard feedback form (pls get it from sales agent and before it became too late)...give specific comment on area of improvement needed. This feedback will be partly helping them to achieve world class developement in coming future also.....is time to share your view as consumer

The problem with Malaysian is we always like to complain but we don't do it officially. Verbal complaints to TMS sales personnel will not help much. The best way is to put your complaints into writing via the feedback form. If you'd like to make your investment worthy or future home a better living space, please do your part now.

As mentioned, send feedback to angelachong [at] mahsing.com.my & print out a copy to be attached to the feedback form.

Hence, they'll receive both soft & hardcopies of our feedback.

Please do so.

Mabye the big bosses does not get to hear it directly from us ( buyers, customers & investors of Mah Sing... Good to tell him that his company is known as TMS also ).

So might need to pass him the feedback directly for him to take note of his company reputation and his is at stake if they continue to under deliver with low quality materials.

Mabye should make copy of feedback form and sent directly to him by register mail... I'd he get tons of register mail daily... Sure he will read some of them..

You are pointing the right issue, TMS create unnecessary waste.
I like China style, their new apartment are totally bare, no single tiles, all cement rendered, purchaser choose their own taste to renovate the house, jimat, we Malaysian like to "modify", really waste a lot, jialat!

Do a research on China apartment, size, maximum storeys to build & land price then compare to our msia one... blush.gif

my 2 cents.. smile.gif

When I looked at the stickers on the Semi D I thought it's over 80% sold as all the intermediate units are almost all taken? How come only 51% for 2-storey & 69% for 3-storey? Besides I thought the 2-storey Semi D is selling faster?
