Registration now opens.

Schedule for first preview/launch in Sept-Oct 2010.

Landed properties 2 and 2.5 terrace homes within the most sought after address of Bandar Kinrara near Puchong. However, its a leasehold and priced from RM600k and above.

hi accetera. kinrara residence is the new name for bandar damai utama? bcos I'm staying there now. saw all this flyers saying Premier Lifestyle Kinrara.

which phase is this launch? bcos the current phase which was launched last few mth has been almost sold out.

can provide more info pls. tq

This thread refers to the yet-to-be-launched Kinrara Residence gated community of superlink and luxury homes by Mah Sing Group. Kindly visit their website.

The company bought the now vacant land (about 126 acres) just last month - July 2010.

Phase 1 will be launched as early as Sept 2010. I think the address will be under Bandar Kinrara.

Salesperson said location will be near I&P's Kinrara projects and the Kinrara Golf Club as well as a forest reserve.

Thats y its not for average earners ...

Looking at the pricing and trend, I think nowadays average earners only have the options of either live in the sky, or look for subsale landed, or live in outskirt... shakehead.gif

well i was lucky to bought a unit in the kinrara residence for about 3xxk in january 2010. now is going up close to 450-480k. and still being sold like hot cakes. think bcos too many demand and also ppl grabbing the units at launching price for investments. alot of house units there are empty bcos the owners are holding to the house to wait for price to go up further. they said no rush, wait few month can earn more tens of thousand sad.gif

well didnt expect mah sing group of companies to come over here and build houses. guess it was right choice to buy a house there biggrin.gif

As the developer, Mah Sing intends to rebrand the on-going mixed development known as Taman Damai Utama into a Residence Development boasting lush greenery and trend-setting layouts in a gated and guarded environment.

The land, owned by Medan Damai is a matured development with more than 600 units of 2 and 2 ½ storey terrace houses already sold and handed over. The commercial portion comprising more than 100 units of terrace shop and offices are also fully sold except for the bumiputra units. "This is an opportune joint venture for Mah Sing to replicate our success in Perdana Residence 2 in Selayang and Garden Residence in Cyberjaya where we saw very good sales due to the good location, strong concept and value proposition backed by our Mah Sing brand," said Mah Sing Group Berhad's Group Managing Director cum Group Chief Executive Tan Sri Dato' Sri Leong Hoy Kum. Launched in April 2010, 53 units of the 180 units of terrace houses have been sold to date. The land has a gross development value of RM100 million.

DU1 DU2 and DU3 still remain under Taman Damai Utama, shoplots and also low cost apartment will also be developed under Mahajaya.

Any clue what is the selling price for the superlinks house as mentioned in Mah Sing website?

can always buy the WZR units or Hening units further down the road. but those are 650k -800k. i previously dislike the workmanship of DU, but for the money its ok.

Air Hitam Forest Reserve hillslope to remain intact

THE Selangor state government has no plans to develop the hillslope in Air Hitam Forest Reserve in Puchong as claimed by certain quarters.

Senior executive councillor Teresa Kok said it was not true that the state government had by-passed the residents and given the go ahead for the hillslope in the forest reserve to be developed.

She was speaking at a press conference after meeting residents of Bayan Hill Homes at Bandar Puchong Jaya who had expressed concern about claims that the hillslope would be developed.

The meeting was also attended by a few councillors from the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) and residents association representatives.
Green backdrop: The area near the Air Hitam forest reserve has many condominium blocks. Taman Wawasan is in the foreground.

“It is all done in bad taste. There was never any attempt to develop the Air Hitam Forest Reserve,” said Teresa, who is the assemblyman for Kinrara.

Teresa said certain quarters were poisoning the minds of the residents that the hillslope in Air Hitam would be developed and that the public now had no access to the area.

There are claims that the orang asli communities living there were also threatened.

“We refute all these claims. In January the state government gave the residents of Puchong a New Year gift in the form of a promise not to develop the Air Hitam Forest Reserve,” said Teresa.

“It is the state government’s decision not to develop the forest rich in flora and fauna. The two former MPSJ councillors are irresponsibe and spreading rumours and causing fear among Puchong residents,” said Teresa.

She said a committee had fixed a briefing on July 23 to provide details on the “hill slope development” to residents of Puchong Jaya and surrounding areas.

It will be held at the Sutramas Condo in Puchong.

The forest reserve was originally 4,270ha and there have been multiple excision between 1964 and 2006, totalling 2,963.5ha.

As of February last year, 1,217ha had been gazetted by the Selangor government as an education and research forest and under the jurisdiction of the Selangor Forestry Departent. The forest is on a 80-year lease from 1996 to Universiti Putra Malaysia.

In the New Year celebrations this year in Puchong, Selangor Tourism, Consumer and Environment committee chairman Elizabeth Wong announced the state’s decision to abort the proposed cemetery project in the forest reserve.

Since April 2004, the residents had been fighting for the project to be scrapped so that the forest would remain a green lung.

So far the forest reserve is declared as 'Hutan Kekal' by the current Selangor gov but if happen that other parties rule then.....???

If for investment with $$ just buy, surely can get good return !!!

ya hor... later if BN win back the seat then they may declare their own ruling in 'developing' the reserved forrest.

Any idea whether there is any show unit other than the ex-mahajaya one?

For now it's still in the planning stage & no actual show unit available, anyway just register to buy 1st if got $$ coz location wise, it's much better than I&P one just next to main road, very small G&G area with little landscape but plus point is freehold versus leasehold.
